What sets me apart is that I treat house sitting as more than simply keeping pets fed and the house occupied. I’m attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’m comfortable caring for young, energetic pets who need structure, playtime, and patience, as well as senior pets who may need extra attention, medication, or a slower routine. I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats, including high-energy dogs and pets with very different personalities and needs. I’m especially good at maintaining a pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, photos, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. Beyond pet care, I’m respectful of the home itself. I keep things clean and organized, follow instructions carefully, and pay attention to details that can make a homeowner feel confident that both their pets and their home are in good hands. My goal is for you to come home to happy, well-cared-for pets and a home that looks just as you left it.

I care for pets in their home by keeping them comfortable in their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I follow each owner's instructions closely for feeding, walks, medication, and any special needs. I’m comfortable with both energetic young pets and seniors who may need extra patience and care. I also treat every client’s home with the same respect I would my own—keeping things clean, secure, and organized. I provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

Christopher took care of my dog Mabel and my cat Marnie while I was traveling for a few weeks. He was a fantastic sitter and left my house spotless! He was also very intuitive and a great problem solver. My pets were happy and well cared for when I returned.
We left for 3 weeks and had Christopher take care of our dog Reese. It turned out to be a great decision - Christopher made her feel comfortable, made sure she got her meds each day, something that was especially important considering her age and needs. We could tell immediately that he was responsible and we were confident that Reese would be happy and not anxious the entire time we are away. Christopher took Reese out for her walks and sent us photos of Reese both enjoying life outside the home as well as inside which was comforting while being thousands of miles away. We have recommended Christopher to others and feel confident in recommending him to you.
Christopher was a terrific sitter. He was on time, reliable and responsive. He brought in my packages and sent pictures of them as well as my cat so I was at ease on my vacation. I also came home to the house just as clean as I left it, which is always wonderful! I would definitely hire Christopher again.
Christopher has sat for me four times and he is the first person I call. He is the perfect sitter - conscientious, self-sufficient, kind to my dog Indi and attentive to the house. I never have a second of worry when I leave things in Christopher's competent hands. When I come home the house is as I left it or cleaner, and Indi is prospering. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy being active and spending time with animals. I work remotely and am flexible and able to structure my day around a pet’s needs, including regular walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I’m comfortable maintaining a pet’s established schedule and giving extra attention to young, energetic pets or seniors who need a little more care. I also enjoy being around the house and keeping pets company rather than simply stopping by for the basics.
