I work full time but work from home some days of the week (and have time on the weekends). Am centrally located and there are many pet owners in my neighbourhood and so lots of opportunities for pet socializing

I have a small house with a fenced backyard, and normally I let dogs roam free around the house. I can crate them if needed, but usually enjoy letting the dog have access to the house. I usually encourage dogs to sleep in their own dog bed but they are more than welcome to relax on the sofa. The neighbourhood is very walkable. I only feed dogs appropriate treats and their own dog food, and like to have safe toys for them to play with

Any behaviours I should know about including regular routines. Also, appreciate any snacks, toys or blankets they are familiar with. Vet info and emergency contacts as well. If a new client please leave ample time for a meet and greet as I won't book unless I get a chance to meet the dog first (more for the dog's sake than mine).
A typical day
Love walks in the neighbourhood and also to nearby dog parks (if dog can be let off leash) for runs and socializing. Visits to pet store for treats as appropriate.

I've been a dog lover for a long time, having had small dogs as a kid. But my partner and I have had two labradors over the last 21+ years, the last of which passed away in 2021 at the age of 12. We are not looking for a new pet at the moment but love to take care of other dogs when we can. We love walks and all around pampering them. We've also taken puppy training courses.

Charlie could not have been happier hanging out with Christopher. It was his first stay there and he had a great weekend hanging out and joining in walks and outings. Good communication. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful meet and greet with Christopher - Millie was so excited when we dropped her off for her stay! You can tell Christopher really loves dogs and we felt at ease leaving Millie with him. We would absolutely leave Millie with Christopher again!
It went great. Zen really enjoyed staying there, I received pictures updates and communication in general was easy. Will definitely leave Zen there again 😊
Christopher was very communicative with me while I was away. He was super kind to our nervous dog, who seemed right at home! I would ask Christopher to sit our dog again.
