Hi there, my name is Christopher, and as a Rover Premier sitter, I live in Greenwich Village with Griffin, my black labrador, having previously built up a wonderful client base in San Francisco. Animals are a great passion of mine, I love their company, and try to ensure they have fun on every visit with plenty of cuddles and playtime. I mostly do drop-in visits for cats, but I also cater to dogs and do both drop-ins and walks. I strive to ensure my clients can go away, have fun, and not worry, so that means providing a reliable and attentive service while dropping in on your beloved pet. I am also one of the Rover Premier pet sitters who has undergone advanced screening. I have experience with elderly pets and giving medications. If you're away, I'm happy to pick up mail and water plants during my visits if needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Chris helped look after our cats (with drop-in’s) during a recent trip, they both took to him instantly and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided. Our specific needs are pretty involved but you’d never guess it based on how easily everything came to him from day one. A genuinely kind and caring person who takes what he does seriously. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for help.
Christopher was wonderful with our two cats! He was so kind and attentive, sent lots of photos and updates, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. When a big thunderstorm rolled through and our cats got scared, he even put the TV on to help calm them, which was so thoughtful. Our boys clearly loved him, and we’d absolutely book with him again!

Schedule
It's a big part of it and something I really enjoy. I'm a freelance writer, so work at home, and I have the flexibility to accommodate any schedule. I welcome the opportunity to care for animals and see it as a privilege.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will walk around my neighborhood or to local parks. Griffin enjoys coming along where possible. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog is welcome to sleep wherever he feels most comfortable. We leave the bedroom door open so they are not shut out and can come and go as they please. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite pillow, blanket, or dog bed from home.
