I work from home full time so I have plenty of time to care for a dog or cat during the day. Taking breaks to go for walks are very refreshing. I take care of dogs for week long stretches and it really brings my energy up having that companion around to lighten up the day! As a note I don’t like to book more that 2-3 months in advance to ensure I know my schedule and don’t have any conflicts.

I care for pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love and attention. I let dogs and cats on the furniture and in the bed if I’m comfortable with them. If you prefer, I will follow crate rules as instructed. I only host one family’s pets at a time so your dog or cat will have personalized care.

Information Christopher C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog is on the more aggressive or shy side. I can be more assertive or more gentle depending on a dogs needs. Any special trainings or commands are appreciated as well. With me working from home, I am unable to take dogs who are prone to excessive barking.
A typical day
There are sidewalks to multiple parks and some dog parks, also less than a mile from the Loveland bike trail! I have a decent sized back yard and a finished basement to run around and play in during colder months. Other than that plenty of pats on the couch while watching shows and regular walks (especially if your dog is good at signaling).

Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my entire life! I started walking dogs around my neighborhood when I was a kid (a Rottweiler named Bear was my main client right after school), and I would dog/cat sit for several other neighbors. My childhood dog Lady was my responsibility and I cared for her as well as helping with my parents now senior dog Gunter and cat Bella. Now I regularly pet sit for friends, family, and Rover, hosting pets for a week or two and giving them a loving home. I only take care of one family’s pets at a time and have no pets or children in my house, just me and my fiancé, so your pets will receive my full attention. I’m looking forward to hosting your pets at my house 😊
Reviews

We forgot to pack our dog treats and kong. Chris offered to pick them up at the local pet store. Sulley got his treats and the visit went well. :) Thanks Chris!

Forrest always has a great time with Christopher (mostly chilling in his office or snoozing on the couch). Always a great stay knowing he’s well cared for when we’re out of town.

Absolutely highly recommend Christopher. Very easy to communicate with. Took excellent care of my dog. Will definitely be booking with him in the future.

Always an awesome experience for us and our sweet boy Sulley!
