Availability
Dog walking is my full time job and so I'm available all week, every week. I have my regular clients, so additional walks will be conducted alongside / around these. My morning walks are sometimes fully booked, however midday and afternoon are generally less busy.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a simple, systematic approach to walking safely with my dogs. Initially, all walks will be conducted on a short lead. This will then move onto a long lead (a harness is imperative for this!), and once they have demonstrated recalling to a satisfactory level, then off-lead can be viewed as an option.
Information Christopher B. would like to know about your pet
Experience has shown me that dogs can behave completely differently when they're with me compared to when they're with their owners. Not bad, not good, just different. However, if you know some big triggers for your dog, it'd be great to know these in advance, so if it does happen I'll know what to expect (for example; if they're likely to bolt if someone sets off a firework half a mile away)
A typical day
I like to conduct my group walks in large forest areas which will give the dogs plenty of room to exercise and explore all the smells that have arrived since their last visit, a combination of physical and mental exercise. Rain, wind, sun... all weathers are perfect for a walk! Unfortunately I don't have the capacity for pony-sized dogs at this time. Regular-sized dogs are great (what even IS a regular-sized dog!) and dogs small enough to fit inside a handbag are perfect!

Pet care experience
My dog walks are approximately 1 hour in duration. These are a great opportunity for dogs to get out into nature, explore the scents of the world, and socialise with other dogs. These are group walks which are set at the slowest dogs pace, but in an environment where those with more energy have the freedom to run and play. The walks themselves will be held in parks and fields which will give the option for the dogs to be off-lead (should the build-up of trust be sufficient!) as I find this is great for achieving a healthy body and mind. Mud is all but guaranteed, and I will have towels on hand to remove the worst of it before dropping them off back home.
