Working from home allows me to naturally weave pet care into my day—starting mornings with walks and feeding, taking short breaks for play and potty breaks, and ending evenings with longer exercise and bonding time. Weekly, I schedule grooming, vet check-ins, and enrichment activities to keep my dogs happy, healthy, and well-cared for while balancing my work responsibilities.

Safety, trust & environment
Even though my yard is unfenced, it’s spacious and safe because my dogs are always supervised during outdoor time. I use leashes or long leads when needed, and I never leave them unattended. This way, they can enjoy the open space for exercise and play while staying secure under my watch. I also have a large swimming pool, so if your pup enjoys the water, they can have a fun splash session under my supervision.

We love Miss Christle!

I left my 100 lb dog, Nala, with Christle for a 10-day stay. Drop-off went well, and Nala appeared comfortable with her and the other dogs. During the stay I only received three photo updates over the first six days. In each photo Nala was still wearing her harness indoors. After seeing the third photo of her lying on the couch wearing it on day six, I messaged Christle asking that the harness be removed while indoors because it didn’t look comfortable and I became worried she had been wearing the harness the whole stay. Christle responded, “Will do.” I did not receive any additional photo updates after that. When I picked Nala up, her harness was on upside down. After removing it, I discovered significant purulent and discharging wounds under both front legs. The following morning she developed yellow drainage, and I took her to an emergency veterinarian. Nala was diagnosed with deep ulcerative pyoderma affecting both armpits. She required shaving of the affected areas, prescription medications, ongoing wound care, and follow-up treatment. After the stay, Christle told me she first noticed redness on Thursday but did not notify me during the boarding period. Had I been informed when the problem was first noticed, I would have wanted Nala evaluated immediately and would have discussed changing how her harness was being used. In addition, if more photos were provided I would’ve and could’ve spoke up about the fact harness’ are not made for 24/7 wear - though that is something a “Star Sitter” should be aware of (in my opinion). I am disappointed that I wasn’t informed about the developing skin injury during the stay and that I discovered it only after removing her harness at pickup. Because of the injuries Nala sustained, the lack of communication/accountability from Christle and the veterinary treatment that followed, I cannot recommend this sitter.

She always does an excellent job with my dog!! Definitely recommend!!

Oakley had a lot of fun with his news friends! Thankful we found someone who will take large breed dogs!
