Loving home from home care for your dogs
Lifetime experience of pet care and 30+ years of dog ownership both large and small, puppy and senior, health conditions, and rescue animals. 6 years experience of handling and looking after dogs at a pet groomers including giant breeds and dogs with health conditions. Experience of looking after other people’s dogs in my home and catering for their individual needs. Completed good citizen dog training and taken part in fun agility training. I know how to keep dogs active, stimulated and happy. New- in 2026 I have taken and passed a course in Pet first aid at Holme Lacy college that included Dog CPR, injuries, shock, burns, poisoning and bandaging. Hopefully I’ll never need to use any of it !

Sukey our 10 month old Cocker/Lab loved her stay. Christine asked if she could take her to a local country show and sent great pictures from a fun day out. She even entered Sukey into the dog show where she won 2nd prize! Wonderful caring dog sitter.
Our young lively dog Sukey loves staying with Christine. A real home from home for her. Lots of lovely walks and thoughtful touches.
Thank you again both for taking such great care of Bodhi, he has come home tired and happy from all his lovely walks and playing with your girls. The children and I loved seeing his photos and videos from his adventures.
Rusty, my Golden Cocker Spaniel, has been looked after very well by Christine. The weather has been particularly hot, but there has never been any concern on my part regarding Rusty’s welfare, Christine took him for walks in the cooler parts of the day and evening. She has kept me informed with pictures of Rusty and messages of how he’s getting on. I won’t hesitate to leave him with Christine, her husband and 2 lovely dogs again. I highly recommend her.
Thank you Christine and Fean for looking after Poppy for the past week. We felt constantly reassured from the photos and videos that she was happy and relaxed with your two dogs ( and slightly worried that she would not want to come home!). Poppy is an elderly dog and can be a fussy eater, and Christine was so accommodating and caring - ensuring she took her medication etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Christine, and would happily take Poppy back to stay there
Sukey had a wonderful time staying with Christine and Fean. Very thoughtful hosts. It was hot weather and they were extremely careful that Sukey kept cool and hydrated. A beautiful home from home for our dog.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is a doggy retreat for our guest pets and have 2 acres of fenced gardens to explore. I have two playful and friendly mid sized female dogs that are spayed to help entertain your pets. Our home can be arranged to suit your pets needs including crating or quiet spaces if needed. We have some doggy sofas and your pets will be fully included in our daily lives.

A typical day
I aim to cater for the individual needs of the dog staying to give correct amount of exercise, play, mental stimulation and training for that pet. This varies greatly from dog to dog but rest assured they will have a great time in a safe and caring environment
