I'm Christine, a dog lover with over 20+ years of pet care experience. I even had a stint as a dog walker when I lived in San Francisco years ago (favorite job ever)! I work from home, and with that flexibility, I have the opportunity to give your pet all day love and care. My husband Steve and I just recently had to say goodbye to our soul dog, Paxton (the most amazing French Bulldog in all of the world), and now we have availability to help others out when they're away on vacation or traveling for business. We know first hand how difficult it is to find trusted pet care in Portland, and we're happy to open our doors and hearts to ensure you can travel without worry! We specialize in small to medium dogs and have all of the bells and whistles you can imagine to ensure your dog has a fun and safe stay with us (dog beds, cooling mats, crates when needed, leashes, toys, and more). We also specialize in administering medications and dealing with dogs that have mobility issues (we've got a dog stroller, raised food bowls, harnesses etc). Our house has plenty of space, and we also have a nice big, fenced yard for your pup to play in!

Christine and Steve are the family that accepts you pups as their own. I will never want someone else looking out for my girls. A personalized experience filled with photos, texts, care, attention, and the knowing when I pick my happy girls up that we all feell they have been staying with family.

This is the second time Christine and Steven have watched our two small dogs and we couldn’t be happier. Leaving your dogs can be very stressful but Christine and Steven made it obvious that they were being cared for the whole time. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Schedule
I work from home full-time and rarely leave the house. My husband will also help care for your pet in his time off from work. I go for several walks per day and would love to take your pup with me!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup will get to hang out with me all day while I'm working, and after 2pm every weekday will have 100% of my focus. We have a large, fenced in backyard as well as a beautiful park just a few blocks away.
A typical day
Walk, fetch, play - whatever your dog is in to! I also love to take pet portraits and happy to send you all of the photos I take of your pup so you know he/she is having a great time!
