Your dog’s second family
I had my first dog at 14 years old. More recently 2009 to 2022 my husband and I trained and loved a well-behaved Bulldog using the Cesar Millan method. We recently adopted another Bulldog (Biggz) and he is the most chill and relaxed dog ever. He loves playing with other dogs. We are very confident around dogs and their safety is our top priority...along with lots of love and cuddles! I work in healthcare and am comfortable giving medications or needles. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I have cared for dogs that are elderly or have anxiety. We are also comfortable giving medication.

Christine was excellent!! We didn’t give her much notice and everything worked out really good. She sent us updates frequently so we knew all was well. Special thanks to her family for their snuggles! Highly recommend!
I am extremely satisfied with the care that my dog received while in Christine’s care. She kept in contact with me while I was away, by sending messages, photos and a video. I highly recommend Christine and will definitely request her in the future!
Christine and her family were amazing and caring hosts to our small dog Tokyo. We got plenty of updates throughout his stay capturing his walks and important moments. There was certainly a lot of attention on him and he seemed to love his stay. We will definitely bring Tokyo back the next time we travel and can't bring him with us.

Schedule
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays we are out of the house from 8:45am-3pm. Our pup is crated at that time. Thursdays and weekends I am home.

Safety, trust & environment
I can recognize quickly when a dog is uncomfortable, fearful or needs some space. My priority is keeping your dog safe. If I am not home, I am happy to crate your dog in my home or allow them to roam if they are well trained. I live in a bungalow so there are not any stairs and all bedroom/bathroom doors can be closed. I have 3 school age children that love and care for dogs as well as they grew up having a dog in the home until now. Lots of energy in our home to tire your fur baby out! Our backyard is partially fenced and we live on a quiet crescent with a park that has a big field.

A typical day
Lots of fun parks and trails to explore in Elmira! My kids (and husband) will enjoy playing catch, chasing and snuggling up after all that exercise. We all enjoy taking walks together too.
