Highlights
Pet care experience
Works from home | 1:1 care for pets
I took care of my family's two cats for 8 years and fostered a high-need cat with urinary issues for 3 months. I walked and sat dogs for neighbors prior to joining Rover. I’ve sat former rescues for longer than a week at a time and built trust with them to make sure they have a comfortable stay while their pawrents are away. I have experience with dogs and cats with anxiety, senior care, and administering medication. I really miss having a furry friend in my life and would love to take care of yours when you're at work, on vacation, or just need an extra hand!

Ratings and reviews
Always feel like our cats are in good hands! Timely and communicative!

Christine is the best! I always book her when I am out of town. She’s so communicative and puts me at ease when leaving my kitty.

Christine took great care of our dog, Missy, over the weekend! She kept us updated, made sure Missy was happy and well cared for, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We'd absolutely trust her to watch Missy again and highly recommend her!

Christine did an excellent job caring for Linkin (even when he made it difficult)! Great communication and came home to a happy kitty. Would recommend and book again!

Christine kept my cat so happy and comfortable while I was out of town! She provided frequent updates and it was clear that my cat was really enjoying her company. I have already booked Christine again!

Very responsive and easy to book for a last minute trip

Schedule
I primarily work from home and can play with / take your pet for a walk / give any needed attention every 4 hours at the minimum. I default to sending pictures and updates of your pet once a day but can send updates more often as requested.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
House Sitting Your dog and/or cat gets to stay in a comfy, familiar place while I stay at yours to keep them company. I can provide nighttime snuggles, walks, playtime, litter changes, food, and medication while working from home. If your pet has anxiety, limited mobility, or struggles with a change in environment, this could be the best option for them! **Although I do work from home, pets should be comfortable on their own for 3-4 hours (for example, long enough for me to commute to the gym, grab groceries, and come back). I do accept animals who require more constant care on a case-by-case basis at a higher rate. Drop-In Visits for Cats & Dogs I'll drop by yours at the time you request to provide your cat or dog with a walk, food, litter changes, playtime, and/or meds. Please let me know how you'd like me to care for your pet within a 30-min or 60-min time slot! Boarding [January 2025 update] I recently moved to Williamsburg! I have an apartment with plants safe for animals, right next to a quiet park with a dog run. I'm primarily accepting new clients for house-sitting and returning clients for boarding. If you believe your pet would be a better candidate for boarding instead of house sitting, please reach out. **I'm only accepting cats and dogs as clients at this time, as I am not knowledgeable about how to care for reptiles, rodents, and rabbits.
A typical day
We'll go on at least 3-4 walks a day. The first one in the morning might be to a coffee shop. We might go to the park or a picnic if it's good weather and that environment works for your dog. If it's a work day, I'll set up a nice, comfy spot on the couch for them.
