Crate-Trained Dogs Only
Having never boarded our dog or left him with anyone other than family for short periods of time, we were quite nervous about having to do it while we attended a wedding in the Outer Banks. After much procrastinating and avoiding dealing with the issue, we decided that our preference would be to have someone stay in our home with Django. However, our procrastinating made it impossible to find an in home sitter so late ...
Another safe and enjoyable stay with Christie for our Chuey. We have used Christine's services three times in the last two months, and I totally trust our 14 year old Shih Tzu with Christine. Thank You for all your helpful advice and doggie away from home tips. They helped to make Chuey's stay more pleasant.
Christine was great! She took my last minute request to watch my puppy and kept me up to date with lots of cute photos the entire stay. We even took home a nice little goodie bag and thank you note. Just a indication of how much care she has for this role.
Young couple who loves dogs
We LOVE dogs (and cats) and haven't started a family of our own yet which has given us the time and flexibility to fall in-love with lots of fur "babies"! I work (close to home) full-time with a flexible schedule and providing your dog(s) with the safest, best possible care is my #1 priority. My main objective is to go above & beyond my clients expectations and provide them with everything they need to ...
What Christine would like to know about your dog
We will discuss a variety of things ahead of time, preferably at our Meet & Greet.
The one thing I'd like you to know upfront is that we have (2) indoor cats. They are both very patient, lovable, friendly and forgiving :)
When your dog gets dropped-off at our home, I will greet you outside and help you unload. Once we've said our goodbyes I'll take your pup on a walk (usually before we even go inside) which gives us the chance to establish our own special bond right from the start - and also get acquainted with our neighborhood and all of the new smells. Afterwards we'll go inside, get settled and introduce them to our kitties in a calm supervised setting. Time and time again this introductory method has proved to be effective. I truly believe this "process" helps dogs feel more at ease during the transition to a new place.
