professional cat sitter :)
i’ve been formally caring for kitties on rover for almost 8 years. i switch on ‘repeat clients only’ a lot because of great relationships with many families, but am now living on the upper west side and open to new families 🙂 i’m happy to help with light cleaning and plant care while you’re away too! meds are difficult with my super busy schedule. we can facetime during visits or whatever you’d like to feel more at peace while away. i give a play by play update and like to take as many cute pics as possible. unfortunately i’m not working from home anymore so post 5pm is ideal. i have flexibility though and will drop everything if something is urgently needed during work hours, you can absolutely trust that.

Cautious about escape artists and always put my bag down as I enter. If you wish I’m happy to take my shoes off (I want the same in my space) and will always double check and note on the rover card that the door is locked. Also won’t leave lights on that weren’t on before.

Christine did a great job with my cat Miranda and with me! I was pretty nervous to leave Miranda for a work trip at our new place for the first time- but contacted Christine for a meet and greet and Miranda came out to say hi immediately- that alone was pretty impressive Miranda is a shy cat During the week I got lots of pictures and knowing my cat and her behavior, from Christine’s summaries I can tell she was very comfortable and getting attention and the special food treatment I asked to be given. Christine took wonderful care of my cat Bess! She wrote detailed daily reports and sent great photos which showed that she’d won Bess’s trust and affection. I returned from my trip to a spotless house and a happy cat. Highly recommend Christine!

Schedule
Only doing short time frame visits, nothing more than 1 week. I work a very full, full time job, so post 5 or 6pm check ins are best for me during the week. Open to booking if you’re within a 15 minute walk, bike, train from UWS or a repeat client from gramercy park😊
- CatsChristine can host up to 1 drop-in per day
- I definitely like to know if your cat has somewhere they don’t like to be pet. I think I’m pretty good at redemption if I anticipate they don’t like something and will definitely make sure they feel comfortable and happy around me.
