Hello! My name is Christine and I've decided to work at Rover in order to provide happiness to the owners and the pets. I was initially raised in NC with 5 dogs and 2 cats before moving to NY. Over the years living in the city, I've had 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird, and 2 rodents which I cared and still care for deeply. I've always had an attachment with animals and make sure I give them the same amount of love as well as make sure that everything done is by the owners standards and approval. With the say of the owner, I will also provide any special treatment and make sure everything will go as smoothly as possible. I understand that every animal should be treated fair and carefully based on their situation and that is why I decided to join; so I can make sure they are treated how they are supposed to be. Currently, I am working to get a Masters certificate in dog training and apply for a bachelor's in Animal Behavior to help train difficult dogs and service dogs in the future.

Safety, trust & environment
I own an American Akita currently in which I need constant training and patience. I have helped my dog adapt to raw foods along with kibble so her digestive system is stronger. One of the most important things for taking care of clients pets is to ask questions in order to keep their animals as happy and as safe as possible. I will make sure to give updates and reports to owners after each session so they are aware of anything that happened (or if nothing happened and they're just being a good girl/boy!)

Christine has been wonderful with our Bernese Mountain Dog. She is reliable, patient, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. We always feel confident knowing our dog is in such loving and capable hands. Highly recommend!
Christine is amazing with all animals. She's owned and took care of a minimum of 5 dogs in her life from beagle to rottweiler to yorkie. She owns and takes care of 2 cats and a chinchilla but she still loves and wants to love dogs

Schedule
I'm currently a freelancer and available at all times. I walk one dog at 9:30 PM occasionally who has hip dysplasia. I am willing to work all 7 days a week and holidays.
