Notice: sorry, I am only booking dogs that have been here previously. Not taking any new dogs at this time unless specifically referred by a current customer. Thank you. I have always had a dog or two in my life and care deeply about them. I have always been the go to person for friend’s and family pets. Have had several of our sweet dogs live to 16+ years old and I am comfortable and patient with their aging challenges. Enjoy taking care of nervous/anxious dogs and all sizes up to about 15 pounds. Have cared for dogs who are blind/deaf and ones that have extra special needs. Both my husband and I are loving and gentle and we have a calm and safe home.

Christine took care of my Gigi while we were on vacation. I got pictures and reports every day. Christine is genuinely loving person and she's doing an amazing job taking care of pups. Gigi had a blast and I had peace of mind.
Christine is an amazing pup sitter. She cares for Chester as if he was her own and he loves going to her house. We were away on a 3 week trip and although we missed our pup very much we never worried because he is so loved and cared for by Christine.
Christine is the only person I trust these days to dog-sit Stuart. She is always so calm and welcoming and Stuart always feels so young again.
Lacie gets so excited to see Christine! Makes my heart smile. I feel very lucky to have found her!
I really don’t trust anyone else to take care of Stuart. Christine just loves him so much and I can go to work peacefully without worrying too much about Stuart. I’m so grateful to her.
Christine is absolutely amazing. She took care of my babies while I was in Brazil for 10 days, and I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. This was my second time using her services, and both of my dogs were clearly excited to see her at drop-off, which says everything. She sent daily updates with adorable photos and videos, and it was obvious how happy and well cared for Luna and Cookie were. I will definitely use her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Schedule
I am retired and enjoy having small dogs to care for, cuddle, play with and exercise. I am a very calm, patient and loving person to all types of pets, especially dogs. I am a foster parent with Calgary Humane Society and our current Bichon was adopted from them.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a secure fenced yard and dog friendly non-smoking home. I will follow your guidelines for your dog such as meals, treats, medications, kennel, walks, sleeping on bed, etc. 6 year old grandson in home occasionally usually 6 to 7 days a month so prefer kid friendly dog. He is very good with dogs as he has many in his life. You can be assured your dog will be loved, safe, cared for well and comfortable. I do not feed human food and do not share food or treats from other dogs. Prefer dogs under 15 pounds who do not shed. Dogs must be fully vaccinated and vaccinations are current. All dogs must be neutered or spayed and I do not take dogs that are under one year in most cases.
Pets
A typical day
I am very close to several parks and pathways where I usually go for walks. Depending on weather I rent a private fully fenced dog park (Pawsitively Wild&Free) where only the dogs with me are in the field. Even the smallest dog cannot get out. The dogs love it!! I never take dogs to community off leash parks. Our Bichon loves to play with other dogs and chasing stuffed toys and balls. He gets so excited when all his friends arrive! I ensure dogs are safe when playing and make sure they have other safe chew toys and stuffed toys to entertain themselves. I do basic training all the time.
