Highlights
Pet care experience
Experienced Dog Walker
I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet care! For the past 4 years, I have been a volunteer at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, dedicating 2 hours a week to working with shelter dogs. I am extremely experienced with a variety of different types of dogs and I'm often asked to work with the more high needs dogs at the shelter (high energy, anxious around new humans, etc) because of my expertise. In addition to my work at the shelter, I have a regular client whose two dogs I have been walking weekly for a year, but I am hoping to expand my services.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I will happily follow any directions you leave in terms of dog care. While I don't specifically have experience caring for dogs in their own home, I believe that my experience working with shelter dogs gives me the flexibility and adaptability to meet your unique needs.
Ratings and reviews
Christine walks my dog Lola twice a week and is great with her. Christine has solid dog handling skills from volunteering at a local shelter and I trust her to handle any situation when she's walking my girl.
Christine has been working with dogs for years. Her care and attention to detail for each animal’s specific needs makes her a great choice. She communicates effectively during her visits, and makes sure every pet is cared for.

Schedule
I am a teacher, so over the summer my schedule is extremely flexible. During the school year, I work 7:30-3:00 Monday-Friday so I am available in the late afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I live in Capitol Hill, but I'm willing to travel and I do have a car.
