I currently have 6 Aussies, three cats and all kinds of farm animals. My focus is mostly with the cats and dogs. I do work a full time job but when I'm at home I'm rotating dogs so each one can get the love, attention, stimulation and focus that they deserve. I am always working on training, repetition, and a schedule so days and nights run smoothly in the home. Every dog and cat gets the time and love that they deserve and seek. I'm looking to fill weekends currently and if it's close by I could pull off a week here and there to spend time with other's pets. During these times my other half is home and can show them the attention they need. We won't tell my other half but they enjoy mom time better... Wink wink

While in a clients home and taking care of the clients fur babies I will keep the same schedule and routine that those fur babies are already use to. Additionally, if they need to be medicated I will follow those guidelines as well as any outdoor or exercise guidelines. The last thing that I want to do is upset those fur babies anymore than they may already be because mom and dad are gone. My goal is for those fur babies to become part of my large family of fur babies and except me as one of their own. HopefullyI will be liked and utilized enough by your family that me being there is like part of the family visiting.
Information Christine L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pup has any special needs including feeding, medical, physical, or schedule. Additionally if your best friend has any behaviors that I should be aware of to keep both him and I safe would be of great importance and appreciated as well.
A typical day
I will do activities with your pup that you would do with your pup. I love doing games the challenge the pet mentality or physically but only if approved by the fur babies parent. I may have even taught your loving side kick a trick or two when you return.

Pet care experience
I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with dogs and then continue to own dogs for my entire life. While growing up we owned big dogs, little dogs, smart dogs, goofy dogs and everything in between. When I had a farm and family I continued the tradition of having all types, sizes and temperaments of dogs. I have been solely responsible for training, care and loving all these pups. To say I have learned a lot the old fashioned way would be an understatement. Currently,,I own six Australian Shepherds. I started a very small but very responsible breeding program in 2020. I would have one litter a year by different moms. After a lot of research and talking to different rescues I learned how this particular breed is very misunderstood and end up abandoned or turned over to shelters. I then immediately came to the conclusion I did not want to add to this situation but wanted to be part of the solution. I then turned my sights to rescuing. This has become my passion and I am still helping out Australian Shepherds Furever rescue 3 years later. I have raised pups for them and took the mothers as well. I have personally interviewed and filtered through possible adopters for the pups and the mothers when they were ready. I trained all of our puppies and continue the training processes with the fosters. I have also done some competing with my Aussies and have gained achievement rewards with them. I have a love and passion for all animals and respect each animal individually. Each one is different and learn, trust and love differently. It's this understanding that separates me from other individuals.

Reviews
Christine has always been reliable and honest when caring for my 4 dogs. Whenever I am away she keeps me updated on what my dogs are up to and how they are behaving. She has always clarified feeding times, what your pet/s get for food and any other specific information you provide. Christine is there for your dog in a way where she doesn’t want to change schedules and stress your dog out. I have a Beagle who has really bad separation anxiety when I leave but enjoys when Christine is around to calm her down and hang out with her! My beagle also has back issues where she may need medication at times and Christine is on top of what she gets and times she needs it! My other dogs are a bit younger but don’t let her relaxation fool you! If you need someone to play, let your dog run around or go for some walks, Christine will do that as well! Christine has great experience and will treat your pet like it’s her own!
Christine is truly a God send! I purchased my Australian Shepherd from her and although she is not currently breeding because she has shifted her focus to animal rescue I can always rely on her to board and care for my baby girl Ashlyn Grace. I can leave her in her care and know she will be loved as though she is still her own. Christine is truly dedicated to giving the best care and affection to each fur baby she comes in contact with. I truly love her and know I can trust her 100%. If I am unable to take my girl with me I know that Christine will keep me up to date on how she is while Im away, with text updates or pictures. I truly don't know what I would do without her.
Christine fostered and cared for our rescued Australian Shepherd for over a year, managing a full litter of pups, raising and finding adoptive homes for all. She's experienced and can handle any situation while caring for all types of dogs She is kind, compassionate and competent. Highly recommend her!
Christine is a volunteer for Australian Shepherds Furever, a nationwide Aussie rescue. Her experience as a breeder and longtime dog owner has been extremely helpful as she has assisted our organization with fostering everything from adult dogs to entire litters of puppies. She also has helped transport dogs to get them to their fosters. She is a very caring and giving person who takes her responsibilities as a dog owner seriously. They are not just pets they are family.
