Tailored Love & Safety

From furry to feathered, I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, nurturing a deep understanding and unwavering passion for their well-being. Growing up with cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, and rabbits has instilled in me a lifelong commitment to providing exceptional care for all creatures, great and small. This isn't just a job for me; it's a continuation of a lifelong dedication. What truly sets me apart is my experience with special needs animals. My own beloved dog, Charli, battled a severe form of epilepsy, requiring meticulous management through specialized diets, precise medication administration (oral and nasal), diapering and attentive seizure care, including mobility assistance with a supportive sling. This personal journey has equipped me with invaluable skills and a profound empathy for animals facing health challenges. I also have experience administering oral medication to rabbits, syringe feeding, and even IV hydration. Beyond my personal experience, I actively volunteer at SNARR, a special needs rescue in Brewster, where I walk and socialize dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I'm also currently pursuing my dog training certification, further enhancing my ability to understand and address canine behavior. Animals have always been an integral part of my life, and their well-being is my utmost priority. When you entrust your pet to my care, you can rest assured they will be treated with the same love, attention, and dedication I would give my own. *Meet and greet required before any new booking*

Christine is fantastic! I needed someone to walk my dog Buddy at the last minute. Christine was able come over for a meet and great right away and book our walk. She definitely helped me out in a pinch and was wonderful!

We needed someone who could not only watch our dog overnight, but also dropoff and pickup our pup from our wedding, as our dog was a part of our ceremony. Our dog, Carmine, has separation anxiety. Christine went above and beyond, keeping us worry-free as she managed Carmines overnight stay, anxiety, and wedding logistics. We could not be more grateful, and highly recommend Christine for anyone searching for a trustworthy dog sitter.

It was such a relief knowing that Amber was in the best of hands and that i really didn't need to worry about leaving her for the weekend! Christine is a dog lover who is experienced and dedicated. She welcomed Amber to her pup friendly home, and I very much appreciated her flexibility. Thank you again Christine!

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Christine for several years, and one thing that has always stood out is her deep compassion and unwavering dedication to animals. She has an incredible instinct when it comes to understanding animals—their needs, their fears, and their unique personalities. It’s not just about care with Christine; it’s about connection. Anyone who entrusts their animals to Christine is incredibly lucky. She’s not only dependable and responsible but genuinely devoted to their well-being. I’ve seen firsthand how animals thrive in her care, and I can’t recommend her enough.

There is no other human I know who is as loving, caring and nurturing of pets especially dogs than Christine. The time she has devoted to caring for her own young dog throughout its illness is beyond comparison. Her commitment to helping out at a Foster dog shelter is indicative of her love for all pets. I highly recommend her as a responsible pet caregiver.

Safety, trust & environment

When pets stay with me, they become part of our family! My home offers a comfortable and safe environment, with a large, fully fenced yard where they can enjoy supervised playtime. Inside, I have cozy beds and ample space for crating if needed. I understand that every pet is unique, so I'll tailor my schedule to perfectly match your pet's exercise, feeding, and medication needs. We're fortunate to live in an area with plenty of beautiful walking and hiking trails, perfect for exploring with energetic pups. My two children, ages 8 and 11, are animal lovers who understand the importance of respecting individual needs and temperaments. They're also fantastic playmates for dogs who enjoy a good romp! Finally, we have a house rabbit who will always be kept separate from any visiting animals, ensuring everyone's safety and comfort.

A typical day

When I'm watching dogs during the day, I like to have a bunch of fun activities planned to keep them happy and entertained. I usually start with a good walk in the park or around the neighborhood, letting them sniff around and check things out. Then, we'll do some playtime with frisbees or maybe a good game of tug-of-war, that's always a hit! If it's hot out, I might set up a little kiddie pool for them to splash in, or even take them to a dog-friendly beach if they're up fro a short drive. When it's time to chill, I've got puzzle toys filled with treats that keep them busy, and of course, lots of cuddle time and gentle brushing to make them feel loved. However, knowing each dog is different I tailor their day to their personality and needs.
