I love cats & dogs. Grew up with them all my life. My first pet care cat I took in, was my mom’s. She came to me very sick, almost dead. I figured out it was because of hairballs & nursed her back to health. My mom was developing Alzheimer’s & had no idea her cat was sick & didn’t know what to do. She is now a permanent resident in my home as my mom needed to go into long term memory care. I have enjoyed my share of owning dogs as well. I grew up with small & some larger dogs. I prefer the smaller ones though! I love them sitting on my lap. I’m a firm believer in pets as members of the family & they r allowed on my furniture.
