Grandma gives great care
I've been a dog owner for 40 years, and was a foster for a few years for MARS. Although I specialize in German Shepherds, I have taken care of just about every type of dog. I dog sit regularly for my daughter's dog (rescue Pitbull mix) and my son's dog (Belgian Malinois). The last dog that I lived with was a rescue German Shepherd. If I have a special skill I guess it would be that I understand rescues.

The dogs I've cared for get several walks per day - or ball tosses if there is a fenced in yard. For those dogs who get along with others, we love the dog park. We make sure to go potty before bedtime! My dogs get two meals per day - but if yours get three meals, that's fine too. I've taken care of dogs who need daily pills and those which are in heat. I don't need much when staying at your home other than internet. I bring my own food. I prefer longer stays rather than short ones so I can learn the dog's routine.

Christine went above and beyond taking care of Callie and Cosie! She scheduled a meet and greet a couple days prior to us leaving for a long weekend. The sister bichons took to Christine immediately which is very unusual. They are high maintenance with some house training issues. Christine met their needs like a champ! When we got home the dogs were calm and happy. I told Christine she is the “dog whisperer”!
Christine has been great with our dogs! She stays in touch while we’ve been away and our dogs are happy to have her stay with them!
Christine did an excellent job caring for our two dogs and house. We were greatful she was willing to house/dog sit for us when we had a last minute family emergency pop up.
Chris was a fantastic dog sitter. We have a large GSD and a smaller dog that she handled beautifully! I’m happy to be a reference for inquiries.

Christine was very good with our 2 dogs and cat. While staying in our home, she left it clean and cared for it as if it were her own. Definitely will call again.

Zeitplan
I'm semi-retired and have a very flexible schedule. I'm in the North Metro but I occasionally drive for Lyft, so I'm familiar with the Twin Cities in general. I'm an early riser so if your dog is as well - that's fine with me!
