I’ve cared for dogs since I was a kid, both my own and those of friends and neighbors. I have cared for puppies through senior dogs and understand the needs of various ages and breeds. My own rescue dog recently died at age 15 after 14 years together. Prior to him, I grew up caring for rescue dogs of a variety of breeds and mutts. I have intimate experience working dogs of various needs, quirks and wonderful personalities and can’t wait to meet yours.

This was my first time utilizing dog sitting services, I was really nervous about leaving Boss altogether. Christy responded to my inquiry in a timely manner, set up a meet and greet quickly, and was understanding to this being my first time during this process. She was very accommodating to all my questions before and during Boss’ stay. She kept me updated with messages, pics, and a video and was reassuring at times that I was worried. She responded quickly when I reached out as well. Throughout Boss’ stay I felt he was being treated with love and care. Even when he wasn’t eating in the beginning Christy brainstormed ideas with me and picked up an item I forgot at home. I truly am thankful for her taking care of my Boss and making our first dog sitting experience pleasurable!
Christine took extraordinary care of Suzie. I couldn't have asked for better. I was concerned about how Suzie would do with any sitter since she's a little feisty, maybe a lot feisty. But Suzie really seemed to take to Christine and all worked out well! I'm extremely grateful to have found such a great and kind sitter and person on Rover.
Christine always takes such good care of Finn. She is amazing about communicating and sending us updates.
Christy is great!!! This was the second time she watched our dog and she was wonderful. She always sends updates and make me feel at peace leaving my dog with her!
Christy was a wonderful pup sitter who kept us in the loop and shared pics throughout Lucky’s stay in her home. Definitely recommend and would request for her the next time we need a pet sitter!
Christy is a 10/10 for anxious dogs. She is so patient and thoughtful. I appreciate her communication regarding food and other eccentricities with Molly! As always, my pup came back well taken care of! I’d recommend Christy to everyone!

Schedule
I am a public school teacher so during the school year, I am gone much of the day during the week. For the past 14 years I had my own pup and am used to (and love) early morning, afternoon and nighttime long walks. On weekends, I am around much more and can easily adapt my schedule to your dog’s needs. My partner recently moved in with me and is also a dog lover. His schedule may allow for a midday walk on some weekdays.

I live in a pet-friendly condo building near Four Mile Run. There are ample trails for walking and a large dog park just under a mile from my home. In my home, I am fine with pets on furniture but will also follow your preferences.
A typical day
I love to be both mentally and physically active with your dogs. I enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war and puzzle games with dogs. If they are dogs who enjoy dog parks, I will gladly take them to any of the area’s great offerings. I’m an avid runner and hiker myself and would happily have your dog join me. For dogs that enjoy running, I can take them on runs with me at a length that you desire.

- Please let me know of your dog’s special needs and preferences. I can avoid crowded areas and things that may scare them like other dogs, bikes, and scooters as needed. I have worked with dogs who are afraid of cars and have a set up in my own car with seat coverings and a small safety strap for dogs.
