I have 28 years of cat, dog, and horse ownership experience. I’m a teacher of 20 years who wants to spend the summer caring for pets. I was an animal rescue volunteer for five years where I visited cats and trained puppies and adult dogs alike. I’m a calm, patient person by nature, so my specialty was shy and nervous pups/ cats.

Respect is the number one rule. I have trained on how to read dog and cat body language. I am calm and patient with animals. I also know to be extra safe and careful at all times and to expect the unexpected.

Christine took wonderful care of my two cats! Our kitties have very different personalities - Cosmo is outgoing and Poppy is shy around new people. Christine played with Cosmo and gave him the attention he loves. She gave Poppy space, but made sure to find her every day and bring a bowl a wet food to wherever Pop was hiding. We loved getting the daily updates and pictures. It was so comforting to know that our cats were in good hands with someone who really cared for their wellbeing.
Christine is great! She gives our dog all the snuggles he needs when she is with him.

Schedule
I’m a public school teacher, so my schedule is currently pretty flexible from June to mid-August. I’m willing to work around your usual routine as much as possible.
