Over the years I've watched dogs, cats, alpacas, horses, chickens, sheep, turkeys, goats, birds, you name it. I've stepped in for people absolutely love their animals AND also love to travel, or sometimes just need to be away for work. I've done everything from walking property perimeters with Great Pyrenees to ensuring high-energy dogs can get that energy out constructively. I have no problem following long lists of instructions for morning vs. evening meals and beyond (special ingredients, special order of operations, medications, supplements). If you'd like to me to stay with your furry, fluffy, or feathered friend, you can trust that upon your return everything will be tidy, clean, and exactly the way you left it.

When coming to your house to watch your pet, I will treat your space with utmost respect and care for your animal like it was my own. I'm very careful about locking doors, closing gates, etc., and have no problem following any instructions you want to share.

Christine did a wonderful job watching our 9yo corgi Huck and house over a long two-week trip. Great communication, before and during the stay. And we returned to a happy dog and tidy home. Would highly recommend!

Christine was great with our dog (and our house)! We were only gone for the weekend, but she made sure to take our pup out in the woods to play, and she also made sure to check in and let us know how things were going. Would definitely recommend her to others!
Christine is the literally the best pet and house sitter we have ever had. She diligently and compassionately took care of our 3 dogs, 2 cats, 12+ chickens, and 6 goats every time we went on vacation for more than 2+ years. We are the type of pet owners who pay very close attention to our animal companions and want someone who knows how to care for our plethora of animals and their various (and sometimes very detailed) needs. And we weren't willing to settle for less than a high quality person. We were so lucky to find Christine. She is competent, detailed, caring, kind, compassionate and trustworthy. The animals always felt loved and cared for and the house always felt good to come back home to and that kind of care and attention is priceless. Do your pets a favor and hire her. You will be very glad you did.
My dogs and I love Christine. The stellar job Christine did caring for my elderly dog, Mac and youthful pup, Juniper was evident by the beyond-excited greeting they always gave her when she stopped by my house. They basically looked at me like, "Mom, are you leaving now so that we can hang out with Christine? Please?" Rather than taking this personally, I delighted in the fact that I could enjoy my times away without a worry about the canines I'd abandoned at home. Christine is reliable, responsible, communicative (I LOVE this trait), and kind-hearted. She made sure that my dogs got what they needed (medications, high-pitched praise, and snuggles for the older and exercise, petting, and reassurance for the younger). I knew when I returned home I'd find happy pups, a tidy house, and a friendly note filling me on all the fun they'd had together. Christine is a rockstar dog-sitter.

Schedule
I'm not working at the moment, which means I have plenty of time during the day to make sure your pet gets the attention you want. I like to be active during the day, which could include bringing your pet along for some exercise. I'm also very content to hunker down with a good book in the evening and just spend time being a companion to your pet.
