Dog days are all days.
I have had pets my entire life including fish, cats, and a two dogs (Blu and Spencer) that I've considered siblings more than pets. I currently have a 3-yr old bearded dragon named Zorro. About ten years ago, I worked for a dog walking and pet sitting company in Boston/Needham, and pet-sat for many different families while in college. For three years of undergrad, I house sat/babysat/dog sat for a family in the area that had two Italian Spinonis and an ancient, blind, but adorable, Terrier. I've watched sick dogs, month-old puppies, diabetic cats, wildly active pointers and bull-headed old farts. I moved back to Boston and have been sitting for a few local puppers pretty regularly. My partner Bryan usually joins me while house-sitting as we share a car. He also has over fifteen years of experience caring for and training family dogs, and is an animal magnet. He has stayed with me and helped care for many pets over the past few years, winning them all over and becoming everyone's favorite. Having Bryan as an additional presence also ensures your pet will have someone at the house more often, with less time alone. Dogs make me happy, and I hope I make dogs happy too. I would love to give your pet some of the love! :)

I will not have your pet off-leash unless in a fenced in area. I will do my best to earn their trust patiently and work with whatever quirks or idiosyncrasies they have, and honor whatever house rules you may have. :)

Schedule
I regularly work Tuesday/Wed/Thurs at a local library, with an occasional Saturday or Sunday shift. I also have modeling and photography gigs sporadically. I will most likely need to be gone for 4-8hrs at a time while house-sitting if it overlaps with my work schedule, but am available around that. I will always make sure to give your pet their daily meals and let them out for exercise/to do their business.
