Full availability - work from home!
I work from home 4/5 days a week and have full availability for house sitting, multiple daily drop ins/walks. I have experience pet sitting for both dogs and cats, and I have personal experience taking care of cats, birds, fish and bunnies. I'm also a huge plant enthusiast (I currently have ~50 houseplants)! I would be happy to water or maintain your plants while you were away as well if you'd like. I currently have a sassy little 5 year old black cat at home and she's the love of my life! I know how important it is to have confidence that your pets will be cared for when you're gone, and I can assure you I'll take care of your furry friends as if they are my own! About this sitter: I work full-time as a Behavioral Health Care Manager locally in Boulder. I work from home 4/5 days a week and would have a lot of flexibility with your pet's schedule. I also am available for house sitting for extended periods of time since I can work from wherever. When I am not working, I love spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, watching movies, hiking, reading, gardening, taking care of my plants, hanging out with Bella, and cooking. I love dogs, but have never owned one of my own due to it not being feasible in past living situations. I have dog/cat sat for many of my friends in both my home and theirs. I do not have any breed preferences, but do not feel comfortable with very large dogs. I would like to know if your pet is up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick preventative, and heartworm preventative. I would like to know if your pet has any medical issues that I would need to attend to, medications that they take, or if they have any special routines/behaviors that I should look out for. I would be able to spend time with your pet before work in the morning, throughout the day and during the evenings. I am usually home most weekends as well. Meet my pets I have one cat, a 5-year old void named Bella. She adopted me back in December from the Longmont Humane Society. It took her awhile to warm up, but she has settled in to life with me, and loves to play, "hunt" birds, nap and she fetches too! :)

When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I treat their space and routines with the same respect and care I would give my own. I take time to learn each pet’s unique needs, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions from their family. My aim is to create a calm, comfortable environment so pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship while maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. I am organized and keep a clean environment, which I would extend to your home as well. I am happy to send regular updates/photos and keep the communication open with owners during their time away so that they are confident that their pet is being well taken care of.

Christine has cared for my dog, Bart, for the past 9 years. He is a 75 lb. lab mix with high energy and a high prey drive. Christine has navigated their walks together with the kind of vigilance and care that I provide for him, which is a requirement, as Bart chases squirrels and rabbits with great force that requires strength and constant attention to manage safely and effectively. In addition to walking Bart on a regular basis, she also comes to our home to watch Bart overnight for the trips we can't bring him along on. She is an extremely dependable person who honors her commitments to the animals she cares for and takes her work seriously. Most importantly, Christine's love for animals is palpable.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Christine. Not only is she a fantastic pet sitter, but also an incredibly loving and devoted pet parent. The way that she cares for her own pet shows her genuine compassion, patience, and understanding of what animals need to feel safe, happy, and loved. Her kindness, reliability, and natural connection with pets are truly special. Christine is a loving, responsible, and trustworthy pet sitter who provides excellent care, attention, and affection, which gives me peace of mind. She sends pictures and provides daily updates so I know my fur baby is in good hands while I'm away.
Christine was fantastic from beginning to end! She came to our home for a meet and greet and we knew that our dog Bacon would be in good hands. We came back after a week away and Bacon was happy and well cared for. We will definitely be booking Christine in the future.
Christine watched my dog, Scruffy for a long weekend. Scruffy, 15 lbs of fury cleverly disguised as a miniature schnauzer, isn't exactly the easiest house guest. He can be loud, demanding and a little dominant. Christine set firm limits with him, gave him treats when he earned them, made sure he followed his diet / med regime and they had a great weekend. She even said she would watch him again.
Being truthful, Christine and I are friends, we worked together years ago and have remained friends since. Christine has pet sat for my 2 dogs multiple times. I can go away and know that she is taking care of them without a worry. My dogs are also spoiled and very set in their routines. Christine has honored that and catered to their will. Thankfully, there has never been a pet emergency while I have been away but I can speak to Christine in an emergency setting. The nature of out work together was such that an emergency could arise at any moment. I have been both co-worker and supervisor to Christine in these situations. She remained calm and she gets done what needs to be done. I have trusted her with my life (yes I know how dramatic that sounds) and I trust her with my pet children. I think the best testament I can give about Christine is that my dogs are happy to see her when she comes over to visit. I think the dogs response to her speaks more than anything I could say.

Schedule
I work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I am available to house sit for extended periods of time due to flexible work from home schedule. I would be available for multiple daily check ins if necessary (up to three/day).
