If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve been using Rover for at least 8 years and have always had the best experiences. Rover has provided my family and pups over the years caring and trustworthy sitters. Within the first few minutes of her agreed upon arrive time I was told she wasn’t able to let our Louie out for a few more hours. Had I not texted her she never would have told me. She did go let him out an hour after agreed upon arrival time and I received a photo of Louie. 24hrs later, no communication from Christine, no photos, I finally reached out. Christine tells me she was busy with Louie all night. Again I asked for a photo since I was extremely uneasy at this point, and she said she was out for a few hours and would send one when she got back to our home. You know how you feeling in your gut something isn’t adding up and something feels dangerous? Yeah I was terrified for our sweet Louie. On top of the fact that I receive notifications from our gated neighborhood about visitors, the timing of her story didn’t add up. Dealing with this while out of state for a wedding, and visiting my ill dad, was extremely stressful. I asked her to immediately return to our home and gather her belongings and leave. I just couldn’t trust that our pup was in a safe environment and being taken care of as she promised. My daughter came home from college to pick up Louie who was barking in his crate but thankfully ok, our home a mess, yes. Rover has been wonderful helping me navigate this unfortunate situation, but I cannot urge anyone looking to hire Christine enough, please look elsewhere. Trust your instincts.

Christine was an amazing sitter for my dog. She is thorough, a good communicator and goes above and beyond to make sure your pet is well taken care of. I will be using her again in the future.

Christine was amazing. She is helping with our 5 month old puppy who pulls a bit during walks. Sent a picture of her walk and some commands were instilling. We look forward to her coming back again to walk our Biscotti.

Hi. Chris has grown up with pets, especially dogs, her entire life. From childhood through adult and family life she's had a dog or 3 under her roof. Dogs just naturally gravitate towards her. She's a woman who strives to provide care and comfort. She recently nursed me personally through some tough times, health issues. Highly recommend.

Whenever I go out of town, I can always count on Christine D to provide safe, loving care for my dog. She’s incredibly dependable and treats him like one of her own. I never have to worry because she always keeps me updated—with photos, sweet messages, and proof that he’s not just cared for, but genuinely happy. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet.

I've known Chris for 25 years, and she has always had such a natural way with animals. This is her full-time job, so when she cares for my pets, she stays with them all day and night, giving them constant love and attention. She is caring, gentle, and treats every pet like her own. Any dog , cat, fish or plant in her care will feel safe, loved, and well looked after. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who truly loves animals. My neighbors even look forward to Chris staying at my home.
