Safety, trust & environment

I have a secure luxury living building that has 24 hour security and is pet friendly. I can have pets stay here with me for as long as their owner needs them too. The following list is a detailed outline of how I would care for a pet in my own home or someone else's. Caring for Pets in Your Own Home: Provide a Safe Environment: Ensure that your home is pet-proofed, removing any hazards such as toxic plants, small objects that could be swallowed, or accessible electrical cords. Regular Feeding and Watering: Maintain a consistent feeding schedule appropriate for your pet's species, age, and size. Always provide fresh water. Exercise and Play: Engage your pet in regular physical and mental activities to keep them stimulated and healthy. This may include walks, playtime, or training sessions. Grooming: Regular grooming, such as brushing, bathing, nail trimming, and dental care, is essential for your pet's well-being and hygiene. Healthcare: Schedule regular veterinary check-ups and vaccinations. Administer any necessary medications as prescribed by your vet. Socialization: Provide opportunities for your pet to interact with other animals and people in a safe and controlled manner to prevent behavioral issues. Love and Attention: Spend quality time with your pet, offering affection, cuddles, and positive reinforcement to strengthen your bond. Caring for Pets in a Client's Home (Pet Sitting or Pet Care Services): Meet and Discuss: Prior to the service, meet with the client to discuss their pet's needs, routines, medical history, and any specific instructions. Follow Instructions: Adhere closely to the instructions provided by the client regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and any other special requirements. Maintain Routine: Keep to the pet's regular schedule as much as possible to minimize stress and disruption. Communication: Keep the client informed about their pet's well-being through updates, photos, or messages, especially if there are any concerns or changes in behavior. Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared for emergencies by having access to contact information for the client, their veterinarian, and knowing basic pet first aid. Respect the Home: Treat the client's home with respect, keeping it clean and tidy, and following any specific house rules provided. Professionalism: Conduct yourself professionally at all times, respecting client confidentiality and providing excellent customer service.

A typical day

I love being outdoors and am sure your dogs do too! I would love to go to the park and play fetch, take a hike, beach walk, dog park (if permitted) with lots of love, attention and scratches! If your pet is a cat I love playing with toys, string, and plenty of love and attention so they are purring by the time you get home!

Christine is a treasure. She took care of my dog Rico like he was her own. Upon me, dropping her off, she immediately began walking him. She communicated with me every step of the way to inform me of how my pet is doing. My wife expressed that she was so happy that we were able to have free time because Christine was a reliable caretaker for our pet. We will definitely book again. She’s worth her weight and gold. Thank you, Christine. P. Kenji Bonds

Chrissy is awesome! She took really good care of my very particular, very anxious old dog. He seemed relaxed after spending time with her! Chrissy is communicative and made me feel super at ease. Highly recommend!
