Availability
I'm currently home with my daughter (2), husband who works from home, and our pup, Daisy, a 1.5 year old lab retriever. My availability is open and flexible for drop in's, walks, medication administration, brush your pet, clean the destroyed couch you saw on the pet cam because you can't emotionally deal with it when you get home, whatever you need! My husband will not be assisting in care. It will only be me. My daughter will not be brought to any visits without prior authorization, period. Safety is our highest priority for everyone involved.

Safety, trust & environment
At this point in my life, I have a lot of experience dealing with a wide range of animals, temperaments, medical needs and energy levels. I've cleaned up my fair share of pet and human messes. I've given medication and helped with wound care. My neighbors, family and friends have trusted me to watch their pets on multiple occasions. I've even gotten the pleasure of boarding my sisters Golden Retriever for a week while they went on vacation. I treat any pet like it's my own. They are precious to us, that's why care and empathy go a long way.
Information Christina & Tim D. would like to know about your pet
It's important to know if the animals have had any past signs of aggression. If they have, what's caused them? Do they have any past medical history? Specific bathroom breaks? Routs to walk? How are they around other animals and people? Allergies, food or otherwise? Vet information if anything happens? Favorite toy/style of play/treat? Training words/phrases to avoid? Triggers, storms/fireworks/sirens?
A typical day
Play is an important activity. Whatever the pet prefers, my dog currently really likes to tug or run really fast around the yard. She just wants to do something with someone around. My previous dog liked to play for about 10 minuets, chase a ball then be done. When it was really hot outside, she liked to get in the baby pool and splash a little. Walks, fetch, go to the dog park, run in the yard, play with wand toys, chase, lasers (depending on the animal)

Pet care experience
I have years of experience with animals. I grew up with a dog and will never look back. As an adult I have adopted 2 different dogs, they were both puppies when we got them. I have experience with older dogs, wound care, medical needs among other things. Honorable mentions: rats, hamster's, a bunny, guinea pig and one of my siblings had a tarantula (no thanks).

Reviews

Christina was on time and professional. My dogs loved her, and they are so much more relaxed now that they are being walked regularly.
Christina is excellent! My dog Molly can be anxious at times. She is so good at handling her, and I never worry about Christina walking her. She is knowledgeable about how to handle her around other dogs and people on walks. Molly loves her!
Christina has cared for my two dogs a number of times. She is always on time and dependable, and my dogs adore her. She cares for them as if they were her own. She has walked them many times and always sends me picture updates afterwards. She has watched them overnight, too, and keeps me updated throughout the day on what they have been up to. She probably cares for them better than I do, lol. She is wonderful.
