When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I make it a priority to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take dogs on walks, clean up after them, and make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. I also respect your home by keeping it clean and secure, following any instructions you leave, and sending regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable in their familiar environment and for you to feel confident knowing they’re receiving reliable, loving care.

Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to learn everything that helps them feel comfortable and happy. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys and activities, energy level, and any commands they know. It’s also helpful to share any medications, allergies, medical conditions, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of, such as separation anxiety or reactivity around other animals. I also appreciate knowing what makes your pet feel most at home—whether they love belly rubs, have a favorite nap spot, or prefer quiet time. The more I know, the better I can provide a safe, fun, and stress-free experience that feels as close to home as possible.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor each day to their personality, energy level, and routine. A typical day includes morning potty breaks, fresh food and water, playtime, and plenty of affection. Throughout the day, I’ll provide walks, outdoor time, enrichment activities, and lots of one-on-one attention. I also make sure pets have time to relax in a calm, comfortable environment. For fun, I enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek with treats, puzzle toys, and interactive games that keep pets mentally stimulated. If they love being outdoors, we’ll go on walks or explore a nearby park (with owner approval). For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend time cuddling, brushing them, or simply keeping them company. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and entertained while their family is away.
