Pet care experience

Dog lover for life

I have been involved with dogs since I was 12 years old when I started raising Guide Dogs for the blind. After that I worked at a kennel/training facility for 6 years, then became a dog groomer for 10 years as well as went back to more kennel work. I also breed and show border collies and train them for a variety of different events. To say my live revolves around my dogs is an understatement. I have been working with dogs for over 30 years in a variety of aspects.

I've known Tina for 15+ years, and she is the absolute gold standard when it comes to pet care. She has loved and cared for my own animals through every stage of life. From giving my senior Siberian Husky, Willow, the specialized medical attention she needed, to keeping her cool with a high-energy, rowdy Border Collie puppy. Tina meets every animal exactly where they are and gives them the best care on the planet. If you are looking for someone who will love your pets like family, Tina is the one. There are not enough words to describe the heart and care she puts into every animal.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home my dogs are indoors with me during the day. They go outside for 20 minutes every hour (supervised only). During they day they have their own dog room next to the living room where I work. Toys beds and crates fill their area. I treat your dog just like one of my own when they are with me. Our dogs sleep in our room with us as well. In your home its your rules and what you need out of a sitter. I would ideally like to take your dog outside to play or for a walk (if that is what they would like). Really it's about the dog and trying to keep a normal routine.

Pets

A typical day

I think keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged is so helpful to their life. Activity is great but mental stimulation is great too. Working on manners, tricks and even just obedience or fun games is so great for dogs.
