Hi there! I am a mature, non-smoking pet lover in my early 60's. While I am new to Rover, I bring over 50 years of hands-on pet care experience. Animals have always been the joy of my life, and my personal pets have almost exclusively been rescues. Currently, I am the proud owner of two indoor rescue cats and a senior Morkie. I understand that your pets are your babies. I promise to treat them with the exact same patience, love, and respect that I give my own. Your home is your castle, I will respect your home, can bring in your mail if you get home delivery and if you have one or two indoor plants, happy to water them for you. 🐶 WEEKDAY EVENINGS & FULL WEEKENDS FOR SMALL DOGS 🐶 Drop-in Visits for Small, Gentle Dogs: I work full-time during the week, so my daytime schedule is limited. My Setup: I focus exclusively in small dogs (under 15 lbs) who use pee pads or have a fully fenced yard. Please note: I do not offer neighbourhood walks. This allows me to focus 100% of my visit on backyard playtime, feeding, refreshing water, and plenty of indoor companionship and cuddles! I do not offer dog walking services. Instead, I focus on yard potty breaks, indoor pad changes, and evening companionship for small, friendly, non aggressive dogs. Weeknights: Available for one drop-in visit after 6:00 pm sometimes I can arrive for 5pm depending on your location and the daily traffic commute. I request flexibility within reason due to potential unknown traffic conditions. Weekends: Flexible availability for multiple visits on Saturdays and Sundays. Drop-in Visits for Indoor Cats: Cats are wonderfully independent, but they still need a daily check-in when you travel. I offer reliable drop-in care for indoor-only cats to ensure they stay safe, fed, and happy. Fresh Essentials: Daily food refills, fresh water, and meticulous litter box scooping. Safety Checks: Ensuring your dog or cat hasn't accidentally locked themselves in a room or gotten stuck. Shy & Anxious Cats: Gentle, patient care that respects their space and lets them know they are safe. Adventurous Cats: Fun playtime and plenty of attention to keep them entertained. What I Offer During Drop-in Visits: I offer both 30-minute and 60-minute visits. I find that cats are generally content with a 30-minute visit, while dogs often prefer a 60-minute visit for extra cuddle time and backyard play. During our time together, I provide:Fresh food and water top-ups. Meticulous litter box scooping (for cats). Pee pad changes or backyard fenced in potty breaks (for dogs) Dedicated playtime and affection. Shy Pet Accommodation: If your pets are fearful or anxious, I never force interaction. I speak in a calm, soothing voice, respect their space, and let them approach me on their own terms. Rover Cards with photo will be provided from every single visit. My Safety & Booking Policies: For cats -Indoor Cats Only: To guarantee your peace of mind and your pet's ultimate safety, I only care for cats that stay 100% indoors. Flea-Free Environment: To protect my own pets at home and my other clients' pets, I kindly require that all animals are completely free of fleas and contagious parasites. Parking & Access Requirements: I travel by car to ensure I arrive promptly. I request that free parking (driveway, visitor pass, or free street parking) is available directly at or next to your home. I cannot accept bookings that require paid meters or paid parking garages. Same-Day Bookings: I accept same-day bookings for repeat clients, subject to availability. I am open to same-day bookings for new clients only if we have time to complete a Meet & Greet before the scheduled visit. I request a complimentary Meet and Greet with every new client or with an existing client that has a new pet that I haven't yet met.
