We love our fur babies. That's why we have fur babies! There are those that consider animals as animals within the family and others they are one of the family. Which is absolutely acceptable either way. For me, animals are my happy place. I have formulated familial bonds with the animals I have taken care of over the years, caring for them as if they are my own. Since I was a child, I have had a deep connection with all animals. My grandfather to this day jokes that I had to wear a necklace of pork chops and steak to gravitate animals towards me because it has always been so effortless. Many animals that are not fans of humans are friendly towards me. For those animals that do not, I still manage to come to an understanding with the animal to take care of their needs while giving them space. Like us humans, animals are breathing beings with personality. They have their days where they need their space. So I just treat them as I expect to be treated by others. I am an avid walker and have been known to formulate a routine wearing animals out where they are expecting that routine to be maintained when their owner(s) return after my stay. I have managed transportation to and from vet and grooming appointments, oral and topical medication management, as well as food management and potty training.

I respect the rules and routines set within the client's home and with their animals. I follow what is requested of my services in relation to the animals and respect the space provided to myself as well as the privacy of the client. If I am staying for an extended period and utilizing the kitchen with permission, all kitchenware utilized will be washed and placed back in their proper place afterwards. I am known to wash any laundry (sheets, towels, etc.) and have the home look as if I was never there to begin with.

Schedule
With my full-time hybrid position I have the flexibility to work remotely for extended periods if necessary. This flexibility extends to leaving the office to tend to potty breaks when needed.
