Availability
I’m home the majority of the day, which allows for frequent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of companionship throughout your dog’s stay. My daily schedule is intentionally flexible and centered around the dogs in my care, rather than long periods of time away from home. Because I keep the number of dogs I accept limited, I’m able to provide consistent attention and maintain a calm, predictable environment. Drop off and pick up times are scheduled in advance to ensure smooth transitions and minimize stress for the dogs. I’m frequently booked 8 weeks or more in advance, so early booking is encouraged when possible, particularly during school breaks, summer, and holidays. I will hold potential booking spaces for repeat/returning families but new families do need to book and confirm to hold their space.

Safety, trust & environment
Because I truly care about the dogs in my home, safety and supervision are always top priorities. My home is intentionally dog proofed, with no access to unsafe areas and no unattended food or hazards. A dog proof safety gate blocks access to the main entryway to help prevent door dashing and ensure safe arrivals and departures. New dogs are introduced thoughtfully and at a pace appropriate for their comfort level, and I closely observe body language to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. Dogs have access to the main living spaces and may accompany me throughout the home. The backyard is fully fenced with grass and plenty of space to run. We have a dog door for all day yard access and a custom covered dog patio so dogs of all sizes can come and go safely. I’m regularly outside with the dogs when they’re outdoors but when I am not, it is a habit to know where they are at all times so I check up on them if they are outside for more than a few minutes by themselves. Fresh water is always available inside and outside, and common areas are kept clean and hazard free. Dogs are given appropriate rest time between activities to prevent overstimulation and ensure a calm, balanced environment. For added security, dogs are fitted with an AirTag collar and an ID tag with my contact information while in my care. This provides an extra layer of peace of mind in the unlikely event a dog were to become separated. Meals are spaced at least 30 minutes after exercise or outdoor play to help reduce the risk of bloat or GDV. Medications are stored securely and administered carefully as directed, and dogs are monitored closely throughout the day for any changes in behavior or health. An emergency veterinary clinic is located approximately 15 minutes away, and I maintain a plan for quick response should an emergency arise. To ensure attentive, individualized care, I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my home lower than most boarding environments. While I may host dogs from multiple families at the same time, I keep my group sizes small, typically no more than 3 guest dogs in addition to my own. Many of the dogs I board are long-time regulars who are already familiar with my home, routine, and each other. Any co-mingling is done thoughtfully, with safety, temperament, play style, and comfort always being my top priority. I do not use punishment based handling or aversive methods. All dogs are managed with calm, positive, and humane care focused on safety, redirection, and reducing stress. In the unlikely event of any signs of aggression or unsafe behavior, the dog involved is immediately and safely separated from other dogs and remains separated at all times until pickup. Owners are notified promptly, and the dog’s comfort and safety are prioritized throughout.

Information Christina M. would like to know about your pet
I require a meet & greet prior to any first-time stay. These are held in my backyard and give us time to get to know each other, review routines, and discuss anything that will help your dog feel comfortable. During warmer months, meet & greets are scheduled during cooler morning or evening hours. My goal is for you to feel confident not only in my experience, but in the care and attention your dog will receive here. Sharing what helps your dog feel calm, confident, and safe allows me to tailor their care and create the best possible experience. Open communication is important to me. Please share any medical needs, behavioral quirks, or concerns in advance. I rarely decline bookings due to challenges—I simply want to be prepared so I can give your dog the care they deserve.
A typical day
Each day is shaped around the dogs in my care. Active pups begin the day with activity or structured backyard play, while others prefer a slower start with companionship and snuggles. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy supervised outdoor time, indoor play, mental enrichment, and plenty of rest. When temperatures are high, activities are scheduled earlier or later, and indoor enrichment takes priority to keep everyone comfortable. Some dogs love games and structured activity; others are happiest simply being nearby, following me from room to room, or settling in for a nap. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and creating a daily rhythm that suits them, not a one size fits all schedule. At bedtime, dogs are made comfortable and set up in a way that closely mirrors their routine at home. Dogs may sleep on the bed, in my room, or in a crate whatever they are most comfortable with. I also have a large dog bed next to my bed, which many dogs naturally choose as their preferred sleeping spot. My goal at night is the same as during the day: for each dog to feel secure, relaxed, and at home.

Loving, Individualized Dog Care
Pet care experience
Caring for dogs is something I genuinely love and take pride in, it’s not just something I do, it’s something I’ve intentionally built my home and daily routine around. I provide reliable, attentive in home dog care in a calm, structured, and welcoming environment, with a strong focus on each dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional well being. Being away from their own home and family can sometimes be tough, and I work hard to minimize any discomfort or anxiety.
Reviews

Christina is amazing. She’s watched my pup multiple times, spanning 5-10 days, and even watched her over the holidays. She’s always spoiling my pup with treats, taking her on walks, taking her on car rides, and supervising her in the yard while she plays with all the other dogs. My dog is also obsessed with her own dogs! She sends daily updates of all the chaotic moments of my energetic pup, & it makes me feel SO comforted while I’m away. Christina truly goes above & beyond & I could not recommend her more:)

Luna always loves staying with Christine and her family. I truly appreciate their love and care of her!

Christine and her family love Luna like she’s their own. She is always so happy to stay with them, and I’m always so grateful that she’s in such caring hands!
Thank you so much I appreciate you helping me with River
