I’ve spent my career working with dogs and have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for them in a variety of professional roles. My background includes working in boarding kennels, serving as a Local Authority Dog Enforcement Officer, and most recently as a Professional Live Body Detection Dog Handler. These roles have given me the opportunity to work with dogs of every breed, size, age and personality, and have helped me build a calm, confident approach to caring for them. I’m confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the sofa or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for. I’m also happy to administer oral medication and follow any specific instructions to keep their routine as normal as possible. What sets me apart is my understanding of dog behaviour and body language. Through years of professional experience, I’ve learned how to recognise when a dog is feeling relaxed, excited, anxious or uncomfortable, allowing me to respond appropriately and help them feel safe and secure. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those with additional needs. I understand the importance of patience, consistency and gentle care, and I always take the time to get to know each dog's individual personality and needs. Your dog's safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll treat your dog with the same love, care and respect I would my own. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is in experienced, reliable and caring hands.

Fab sitter! We were really lucky to find Christina for a last minute booking and Bertie clearly loved his night away. She was really thorough in finding out all about Bertie and his usual routine beforehand, which was really reassuring. We also got lots of lovely photos and updates while he was there. My puppy has just spent his 1st night away at Christina’s. She takes the time to understand your dog’s routine and every little detail that matters to an owner. I had to fill in a detailed form with all this information beforehand which gave me peace of mind. She sent me regular photos and video. I would highly recommend.
Todd had a wonderful time with Christina. We got loads of fabulous photos, videos, and updates. He settled really quickly, went on lots of fabulous walks, and had a lovely time. Would highly recommend Christina and will be using her for Todd in the future x
My boy has been so well looked after by Christina. He’s had the best time, Christina has sent lots of updates throughout the weekend, lots of video, pictures and text updates to let me know how he was getting on. I really couldn’t have picked a better sitter for Buddy. We will definitely be using Christina again, I think Buddy would insist on it 🤭

Schedule
I'm currently available full time and have a flexible schedule, so I can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day. From September, I'll be working full time, but I'll continue to offer pet care on the weekends, where I'll have dedicated time to give your dog the care, exercise and affection they deserve. I always make sure every pet receives my full attention and stays happy, safe and comfortable while in my care.

I will take the time to get to know each dog's routine, personality and individual needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress free. I will always follow your instructions, including feeding routines, exercise requirements, medication schedules and any behavioural or medical needs. I live in a clean, comfortable apartment with access to a front garden for quick toilet breaks. As the front garden is not fully enclosed, I will never allow dogs off lead there. Your dog's safety is my top priority, so all outdoor time will be closely supervised. Dogs staying with me will receive regular walks tailored to their age, breed and energy level, along with plenty of play, companionship and enrichment indoors. I'll ask you about their usual routine, favourite walking routes, favourite treats and toys, any dislikes, allergies or medical conditions, and how they interact with other people, dogs and animals while out on walks. You're welcome to bring your dog's own lead, collar or harness, along with their bed or blanket, favourite toys and anything that smells like home to help them settle in and feel relaxed. For safety, dogs will always remain on lead when out walking until we've built trust and I know their recall and behaviour well. I'll also ask to see that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. I'll make sure I have your veterinary details and emergency contact information before your dog's stay, so I'm fully prepared should they ever be needed. My priority is to provide a safe, calm and caring environment where both you and your dog feel completely confident and comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and receiving the very best care.
