Adventurous Pups Welcomed!

Growing up with pets makes it easier to be a pet lover. Once I got my own dog I realized how much work needs to go into having a happy pup, and that work revolves around physical and mental stimulation. I have a super energetic 4 year old Golden Doodle who I have self trained. My golden rule- a tired pup is a happy pup. Having a dog follow structure and routine helps curb anxiousness and allows them to focus on positive behaviors. I love to take my dog on weekend hikes and hour walks, play fetch & tug and cuddle. I have experience working with small dogs, high energy big dogs, and dogs with anxiety.

Christina was the best. Since my regular dog sitter moved out of town, it was difficult to find another sitter that could compare. She surpassed my expectations. She sent me updates every day so that I could see how happy Roxie was during her stay. I learned that Roxie loves to play with toys - LOL!!! She will be my regular sitter moving forward and I will recommend her to anybody who is looking for a responsible and kind sitter.

I cannot say enough good things about Christina. She was absolutely wonderful with my small dog who is not the best house guest. She was very patient and kind and kept me informed the whole time during the 7-day boarding period in her home. I would highly recommend her and definitely book her again. My dog was very happy and healthy when I picked him up to go home. This was my first experience using Rover.com and Christina is certainly a great example of how dog boarding should be. She kept me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing I didn't have anything to worry about. If you are lucky enough to get Christina to watch your pet, you will be very. very happy and so will your pet!

I had a great experience with Christina watching my dog Prada over the weekend! She was super attentive and gave detailed updates that made me feel at ease the whole time. It was clear she really engaged with Prada and treated her with so much care and love. I truly appreciated the communication and how thoughtful she was throughout the stay.

Safety, trust & environment

My dog is Rayla, she's super friendly and loves to play with other doggos. I'd love to do a meet and greet with Rayla to ensure compatibility for all daycare/ boarding requests. I am very thorough and will ask a lot of questions to get to know your dog's personality better! - All dogs will eat separately to avoid any food aggression. - I have a side yard with a short fence, Rayla and I hang out there on nice days. Rayla is usually off leash when in the yard, but if any owner is concerned I also have a long leash just in case. - All dogs in the side yard will be supervised.

A typical day

I love to take long walks in the neighborhood! During the nice weather I take the doggies out to the side yard to play with toys or fill up the doggy pool if it's hot. We may walk to nearby parks as well. When the weather is bad there are tons of dog toys inside, and I like to give them puzzles or licky mats to tire them out. $$ Hikes: $50 - Duration 1.5 hours $$ Hikes added to a Daycare or Boarding visit: Visit Cost +$20 Duration 1-1.5 hours In Spring/ Fall weather I can take the dogs on a hike. Hikes are only possible if I know your dogs mannerisms and triggers. I'd like to develop a rapport with your dog first and make sure they respond to commands. This is to ensure safety. Hikes are an hour and a half long and will include pickup and drop offs. Rover doesn't have a hiking tab option- so please message me for more details!

If we have a great meet and greet, I'll send you a link to answer some quick questions about your pup! Let me know if your dog has any special needs I can account for. I'd like to know about: - Particular stressors - Food aggression - Prey drive - Leash pulling - Not child friendly - House trained - etc This information will allow me to plan accordingly and not over book when your special needs dog is visiting.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
