Availability
I’m looking to dog walk and/or dog sit in the summer, when I am off from my public school job. This would be during the months of July and August, but depending on the hour I can be available before July (after 4:30 pm). During the summer I have a very flexible schedule.

I have a fenced in yard and a split level home. I can keep our dogs separate or introduce them depending on your preference and whether they can acclimate (Cooper is a big boy but docile and friendly).

Information Christina L. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet have any dietary restrictions? How do they do on a leash? Are they reactive and what extra steps do they require on walks (e.g., turn around if we see another dog, cross the street, distract)? Are there home rules you would like me to stay consistent with (e.g., no jumping on furniture)? Are they fully potty trained?
A typical day
When walking, I typically aim for 25-45 minutes depending on a pup’s exercise needs/age. We can bring along treats if in training, or for some regular reinforcement of learned skills. When pet sitting, either we spend some time in the yard playing with toys, go for a walk around my neighborhood, or if ready for car rides, drive to a nearby walking trail which gets us a longer walk than my neighborhood! I own a Bronco and have a dog ladder that allows them to climb into the trunk with ease if you prefer we head to the walking trail.

Pet care experience
As a speech therapist for 10 months out of the year, I primarily work with children and enjoy spending summers outdoors with my own dog, Cooper. I have 10 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking, through Rover as well as for friends and neighbors. I am comfortable maintaining your dog’s training and walking routines to ensure safe, fun walks together! (Cooper will stay at home, he is a whole lot of 100 lbs and receives his own walks. He does not resource guard and has never been a bite risk).
Reviews

Christina did a fantastic job helping us by watching our 2yr old puppy over this past weekend.

So flexible and very loving!
Christina is absolutely great! I have called on her regularly to take my wild doberman on walks, and walk him during the day! She is always available and eager to help - my schedule is very unpredictable so she really works with me. Recommend her to anyone!!
