Hi! I’m Christina! I have been doing drop-in visits and dog walks on Rover for over a year now and I love it! Especially the walks! I love the company and getting out for some fresh air and exercise. I find it very rewarding that I am able to help other animal lovers with their pets routine and health. It’s also, very rewarding to help animals who have recently been adopted and need a little extra care and patience. Growing up I was raised in a home with dogs, cats, fish, birds, chickens, and rabbits. My love for animals started young, I rescued my first cat when I was five. I get along with all pets. So naturally, when my friends or family need help with their pets I always offer to help. I understand how hard it is to provide the care a pet needs and deserves while working or managing a busy schedule. About 8 years ago, I started dog sitting my friend's Husky when she would travel. I also started to dog sit my roommate's Shihpoo when she would travel for work. Sometimes for weeks and even months at a time. During that time, I saw the importance of caring and comforting an animal even when their owner can't always be there.
