I've had cats my whole adult life and fell in love with dogs as an adult spending time with my siblings' dogs. During a year full time live-in pet-sitter, I gained a ton of dog experience too, and now like to get my face licked by every passing puppy. I was also a homeowner for almost 25 years. I am not one of those people who looks at my phone constantly so your pet will get my attention, not just my presence. No substance use or bad habits (other than knitting and chocolate.) Christina did a great job with my kitties! One of my cats is extra spicy and she handled him like a pro. Christina was on time to give one cat his medication, and she had great communication. I’ll definitely be booking her services again!

Christina was amazing!!! Offered for us to come take a look at her place before the boarding!! Was very flexible with drop off/pickup!! Made sure to ask questions about sky and her needs to make her as comfortable as possible!! Sent lots of pictures and updates and did was great about making sure sky was eating!
Christina has been a wonderful pet sitter for my pets over the winter holidays. She very clearly loves animals of all kinds and truly enjoys getting to know them and spend time with them. She was extremely reliable and sent me many pictures of my beloved pets while I was away. My house was also impeccable when I came back. She is extremely personable and trustworthy. Schedule
I am available for day-time visits, or overnight care. Digital nomad so I am around a lot during the day, with a flexible schedule so I can meet your pet's needs first.

Safety, trust & environment
I will keep tabs on them, put reminders for scheduled events on my phone, and check in with them frequently outside of scheduled care, and will contact the pet owner with any and all questions, as well as daily updates and photos. I'm good at reading their cues, & love to snuggle and play. I'm happy to have them sleep with me if they prefer. I'm strict about following owner's rules and instructions. I prefer to learn a little bit about your pet's personality, quirks, likes and dislikes to provide better care--and so I can tell quickly if something is a bit off. I will communicate with you as much or little as you like, happy to send pictures. I like to be able to ask questions to make sure that I understand your pet and its needs as well as your house and its needs. In return, I ask you to tell me about all of their likes and dislikes, and all challenging behaviors so that we have no surprises and I'm able to keep them safe and avoid problems. When I know exactly what to expect from them and how to meet all of their needs, everybody is happy!
A typical day
Let me know what your dog loves to do, or doesn't, and we will stick to that- so they typical day is theirs, not mine. I can even adjust my sleeping schedule if needed for an overnight. I am there to make them feel at home, which might include walks on their schedules, snacks their way, and sleeping with me if they like that best. (BUT if you tell me they don't love to play, I will keep trying. Even swatting at a piece of string or sniffing a new toy for a rew minutes is good for their brains and bodies.) Whether they are slow sniffers, active walkers or runners, cuddlers, or more independent types who prefer less interaction, of have behavioral issues and need special care to keep them happy and safe, I will adapt to your pet and also read its cues, and will reach out to you with questions if something seems off.
