I have had cats my whole adult life and fell in love with dogs while spending time with my siblings' dogs. I am now a fully converted dog lover who hopes to get my face licked by every passing puppy. Down-to-earth Midwest woman with lots of common sense. I was a homeowner for almost 25 years. I am not one of those people who looks at my phone constantly so your pet will get my attention, not just my presence. On long walks I may listen to a book on tape or podcast with only one ear bud so I am always situationally aware. No substance use or bad habits other than knitting and chocolate.
