Responsible animal lover who WFH
I grew up with and have always loved animals. As an adult, I’ve cared for pets of all ages and personalities. I had a dog of my own for 10 years who unfortunately recently passed from cancer. While I’m not yet ready for another dog, I would love the opportunity to care for yours with the same love, patience and attention I gave to mine. I understand how our animals are family and always treat them with respect. I have a lot of experience administering medications, keeping up with routines, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’ve also fostered and am familiar with basic training methods. I look forward to welcoming your dog into my home!

Christina was truly an exceptional pet sitter (we live in different cities now), and I cannot recommend her highly enough (we miss you!!). She cared for our two cats every time we were away - she has always been our most reliable pet sitter and we would always turn to her first. From the very beginning, Christina was communicative, reliable, and incredibly thoughtful - sending photos and updates all the time so I literally never worried or wondered. One of my cats requires medication twice daily, and she handled everything with so much attentiveness, patience, and compassion. Our medicated cat can be a little particular, and Christina administered every dose seamlessly and responsibly, which gave us enormous peace of mind while traveling. What impressed us most, though, was how much our cats genuinely adored her. They weren’t just “looked after,” they were happy, comfortable, loved, and excited to see her. She clearly took the time to understand both of my cat’s personality, routine, and needs, and it showed in how much they love her. They are friendly cats, but when "Auntie Christina" came over, they would run to her and snuggle her. It was obvious from the updates and photos that she spent real quality time with them, paid attention to their behavior and moods, and treated them like her own pets rather than just checking a box. Christina is the kind of person who instantly makes both pets and owners feel at ease. I trust her implicitly with my cats and my home. She is responsible, kind, detail-oriented, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would trust her with our cats time and time again in a heartbeat.
I have known Christina for many years, and she has been a passionate dog lover her whole life. She has watched my dog Queso many times, and I trust her wholeheartedly. She is very attentive, caring and always treats him like her own. She has a fenced backyard and is very active with walks and playtime, so I always feel at ease knowing Queso will be happy in her care. I couldn't recommend her more!
Christina is a kind, dependable, and trustworthy animal lover. She cared for her rescue dog through serious health issues and consistently went above and beyond for her. She has also cared for my dog, Zoomer, and I always had complete peace of mind knowing he was receiving the same level of love and attention that I would give him myself. She's extremely reliable, responsible, and attentive. Any pet owner would be lucky to have her care for their furry family member!
Christina is so loving and sweet to our babies. We have one cat that always takes a while to warm up to people but she walked right up to Christina and accepted her instantly. She is great about taking pictures and keeping us updated while we are on vacation!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which means I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My partner works outside the home but is home evenings and weekends, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to provide walks, playtime, potty breaks and lots of companionship whenever needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a secure, fenced-in backyard in a walkable neighborhood. Our home is one story, which is great for older pups. I am happy to crate your dog if requested, otherwise they will be free to roam the home supervised and join us on the furniture (if allowed). My partner (also an animal lover) and I love being active so we're always open to taking your pup on walks or safe adventures for exercise and enrichment! Being a former pet parent myself, I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind and not worry. I guarantee your dog will be treated as my own while in my care. I love taking pictures of pups in their cutest moments and will be happy to provide regular updates while you're away.
A typical day
I am ready to follow your dog's lead! Whether they want to lounge around in the A/C, sunbathe in the backyard or go for a hike, I'm ready to accommodate their needs. During the week while I work from home, I'll make sure we get in a morning and evening walk (temperature willing!), nap time, work breaks for some play in the backyard and lots of cuddles.

- It's important that we stay as close to your dog's normal routine as possible. I'll need to know their usual potty break schedule, food schedule, any of their quirks and likes/dislikes. Please share if they are house trained, have any separation anxiety/destructive tendencies or special needs. I want both you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible!
