I work from home one day per week, and I’m home on evenings and weekends. I work close to home, so even when I am not working from home I am never too far away. I enjoy taking a morning or evening walk with my dog, and playing games in the house or in my fenced in yard. I am available for boarding with potty breaks as frequently as needed from Tuesday nights through Thursday mornings, and from Friday nights to Monday mornings. While your dog is with me, we will play games inside the house, play with toys, go on walks, and run in my fenced in yard. My dog is friendly with other dogs and has spent years in daycare without issue so I expect she will be a wonderful playmate for most dogs. All pups will be kept separate from each other when they are not being actively supervised. Weekday morning pickup and drop offs will need to be done by 7:30am, and weekday evening pickups will need to be done after 5pm. If you need flexibility beyond that, please let me know and I will work with you however I can.

I have a fenced in yard, and one friendly dog in the home. My dog in the home does extremely well with other dogs, and loves to play. I prefer to reward good behavior with yummy treats, and provide enticing distractions if problematic behaviors arise. I believe in engaging fully while playing with dogs, and then providing structured relaxation time for them to unwind. When the dogs are not under active supervision, like if I am out of the house for any length of time, they will be crated for some calming time. I like to encourage positive associations with the crate by expending mental and physical energy before going into the crate, using treats as a reward to enter the crate, and playing relaxing ambient music to sooth the dogs while crated.

Safe, loving, home away from home!
Erfahrung in der Haustierbetreuung
I’ve been fortunate enough to be raised with cats and dogs and have been caring for them all of my life. Starting very young I’ve been hired by family, friends, and strangers to walk their dogs and care for their animals when they’re gone. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages from puppies and kittens to senior animals. I’m also experienced at dog training. I enjoy teaching dog behaviors through delicious treats, positive reinforcement, and lots of fun games! Your pet means everything to you, and I want to make sure they feel the love even when you’re away. I love walking, playing in the yard, playing with toys in the house, and giving lots of pets and love to your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your buddy and become their home away from home!

Christina (and her dog Beira) were so great for our dog. She was especially responsive and accommodating. Since our dog is somewhat anxious with new people, we asked Christina to make time for a meet and greet at her home so our dog could sniff it out and meet the resident dog a week before boarding her there. She was especially receptive to that and we think it made for a great experience as we could get all our questions out of the way ahead of time!

Christina was terrific! My dog had a really fun stay and she gave him lots of exercise and got to know what he needed during his time there. Her communication and updates were great. Highly recommend!
