Information Christina F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know a little bit about your dogs temperament and demeanor to make sure he/she will interact well with other dogs we may have during their stay.
A typical day
Our family loves to go on the boat, so if your dog is a good water dog, we could go for small boat trips to a little private island over the weekend. We also like to visit as many dog-friendly restaurants as possible. Our favorite spot is Lokal in the Grove where they have doggy menu items and free biscuits! Your dog will definitely be playing a lot and very entertained! Or if your dog prefers to be a coach potato and watch tv, we can do that too! Any outdoor activities would be first approved by the owner.

Pet care experience
I have over 20 years experience caring for my own dogs and pet sitting for others. I have interned at a small animal emergency vet clinic and with a large animal mobile vet for several years, so I have a lot of experience with emergency and non-emergency events for dogs/cats/horses/other animals. I am comfortable handling all sizes of dogs (and cats), administering oral and IM medication, and tending to elderly dogs. I love to play with and train dogs! We have a very homey 3/2 in South Miami with a nice private, fenced yard that is double fenced on one side and poured concrete under the gates (for diggers!). I have experience with a multitude of breeds (miniature pinschers, dachshunds, labradors, boxers, rottweilers, spaniels, german shepards, belgian malinois, huskys, french bulldogs, heinz 57s, the list could go on and on). I do take multiple bookings at a time, but rest assured that if you do not want your dog to socialize with others, my home is partitioned enough to accommodate that. That being said, I try to maintain as open and social an environment as the dogs will allow. My partner, Wade, and I share responsibilities for our guest dogs, so your pooches will get all the attention they desire! The pups are never left home alone for more than a few hours at a time if necessary. I have declared that I would never go a day of my life without a dog in it, so why not make it a living!? My repeat clients say their 4-legged family members come home like they've been on vacation too! I also have a DEDICATED room for cats so that my kitty clients can stay at peace away from the pups. The "cat room" (as we like to call it) has a tall tower for them to climb and scratch on (hammocks included!), a desanitized litter box after every kitty's vacation, and plenty of toys and treats to go around. We LOVE our kitty guests too! Please check out the pictures of my home away from home for your pals :) I do dog boarding full-time, so my day revolves around your pooch! I am home 99% of the time, with the exception of the odd errand or lunch run. Your pet is cared for in my home as one of my own. They get to be with the other dogs (if everyone gets along) for a majority of the day. We go outside in the backyard very frequently. Everyone gets separated (for safety reasons) if I need to run an errand, when we're sleeping, or to eat. We have tons of fun playing inside and outside, in the water mister, by the fan, on the agility obstacles.
Reviews

Christina sent us updates along the way, but our sensitive dog Moose ended up having a lot of separation anxiety and came home with many self-induced stress sores, on his haunches and around his tail and toes. She did her best to prevent this with a soft cone, and communicated throughout! We're appreciative of all the work that went into keeping him during our two week trip.

Christina was awesome! I have an older dog, so wanted a meet & greet before leaving her with anyone. Christina was super understandable and met with her the next day. I just picked my pup up after 4 nights and she looked great! Christina sent me photos and daily updates which I really appreciate. Will definitely leave my dog there next time!

Christina was great from the beginning, we had a last minute need for a long term boarding and Christina was fast to reply and very accommodating in showing her our place and making us feel comfortable with leaving our girl there. During the boarding she was great with communication, leaving us confident and happy that our girl is doing so well and enjoying her time away from us. If we stayed in Miami we would definitely use Christina’s services and I recommend anyone who wants peace of mind and their dog to be well taken care of to contact Christina. Thank you for taking such good care of Katara!

Love all the updates. Boris comes home happy and exhausted
