A typical day
If you have a dog, we will play games and do cognitive challenges, along with long walks and fun outings (if you would like)! I love walking so I go for very long walks. It would be a bonus to be able to take your pup on little nature adventures! If you have a cat, we will play with various toys and have lots of cuddle time and treats:).

Animal Welfare Student for hire!
Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog walker and cat/dog sitter from Chicago, IL! I worked with a private dog walking company as well as providing many years of cat and dog sitting to clients in my neighborhood. I am studying animal welfare at UBC and getting my PhD in dairy cattle welfare, so I am very passionate about animal behaviour and wellbeing. I own two wonderful cats and have worked in a cat clinic administering medicine in the past. I have lots of experience reading cat behaviour and providing companionship for them! I additionally volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter in Chicago for years and was trained on how to walk dogs with behavioural issues. I would love the opportunity to be around dogs more, as I can't have one with my two cats, and am away from the dogs I used to sit in Chicago!
Reviews

We can't thank Christina enough for taking care of our Bernese Mountain Dog (Bailey) on our wedding day! Christina took the initiative to meet Bailey ahead of the wedding day to make sure she knew all important information and so Bailey would feel the most comfortable. She also provided us with ample updates and photos- we couldn't ask for a better dogsitter, highly recommend!

Christina stayed with our dogs for a couple of nights, and we are so pleased with how it went! She was communicative and it is so evident that she loves animals. We felt very comfortable leaving them with her and would definitely recommend her to others!
I would 100% recommend Christina as a careful, diligent and loving pet sitter. She really went above and beyond with our two animals and with the the care of our home. Our cat is diabetic and requires insulin twice and day--Christina has no issues with medication administration. She was also very responsible in letting our dog out on our acreage and always kept an eye out, which was really appreciated. Communication was top notch and we received updates every day.

She was Amazing! She really took the time to understand my bulldogs. She went above and beyond to be sure they were cared for and loved. I really appreciated the pics she sent. My bulldog actually had an unexpected interdigital follicular cyst pop will she was there and she handled it like a champ. I really recommend her!
