However you care for your pets, I will do the same. If they eat at certain times of the day; go for scheduled walks; have a bedtime routine; etc., I will do exactly what you do, so the dog feels as little disruption as possible and feels as comfortable as possible with me. My schedule varies with my workload, but I try to keep my Rover calendar as up to date as possible. Please book your dates as early as possible. This is my only job, so my calendar fills quickly. IMPORTANT: I do not schedule concurrent stays, so I will be at your home with your pets full-time until you return.

I always clean up after myself and the dogs in your home. Closed doors stay closed. I try my best to care for your dogs just as you would—I never leave doors open or unlocked, and I watch out for escape artists!

A typical day
If the dog is pretty active, we will talk longer walks and play some fetch. If I bring a vehicle, we might take a ride to the dog park for a short time, or go through the drive thru at Dutch Bros for pup cups (whipped cream and milkbone biscuits in a child size cup). If they are less active, we’ll take short walks or just snuggle together in front of the television.

Pet care experience
I owned dogs while growing up, and I have dog-sat for many friends, neighbors, and teachers. I'm great with dogs of all sizes and most dispositions. I always carry a book of First-Aid for pets on my person when dog-sitting/walking. I follow instructions extremely well, and I can be counted upon to adhere to strict feeding/dietary/medication instructions, if requested. I can lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Reviews

Christina is the best pet/housesitter we have ever had. I’m able to relax, knowing that she is taking care of my pets and my home. That gift is priceless.
Christina always does a great job for us. The dogs love her, and she leaves the house just the way she found it.

Christina is great with our dogs . She takes amazing care of them and we can relax on vacation knowing they are in good hands !

We’ve been looking for a new sitter because all of our family young people have gone away to school or gotten married. We also wanted to find someone we trusted and felt comfortable with before taking a long trip next year. I chose to try Christina because of her reviews and we were so happy with the loving care she gave our babies! They took right to her when she came over to meet us and we knew they had obviously been taken good care of when we got home. She also did the few things I asked her to do (litter box, mail etc) and the house was in good order. We will definitely continue to use her as long as she’s doing this job! Thank you Christina for taking such good care of Finn, Sophie and Daphne!!
