Caring Dog Sitter
My name is Christina, and I'm a 36-year-old art teacher and artist living in Montreal. I'm returning to Rover this summer after taking a break while establishing my teaching career. I was a regular dog sitter on the platform while completing my studies at Concordia, and now that I have summers off, I'm once again available to offer dog sitting services. I have a flexible summer schedule and am available for dog sitting and overnight care in my home. I live in a pet-friendly second-floor apartment in Villeray, just a block from the D'Iberville metro station. Because I live in close quarters with my neighbours, a calm dog who keeps barking to a minimum would be best suited for my home. Now that I have my own dog, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable and that it's a good fit. It's important to me that your pet receives the comfort and care they need to feel at ease while you're away, and that you feel confident leaving them in my hands. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to learn more about me and my services.

Ratings and reviews

Christina is my most trusted caregiver for my welsh terrier, Sophie. When I first left Sophie with Christina she was less than one year old and full of mischief. I took great comfort in Christina's lifelong love of dogs and years of caregiving experience. I feel at ease knowing Sophie is with Christina as she is attentive, warm, playful, and Sophie would happily stay with her for any length of time.
Christina has taken care of our cat Pearl many times over the years. She is very affectionate, loving, and diligent with him - and he can be quite the handful! I would trust her with any of my future pets, and will absolutely go to her again for our cat sitting needs. 100% recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
My home is bright and spacious, with a front balcony where my dog loves to sit and people-watch. We also have air conditioning, which helps keep everyone comfortable during the warmer summer months and ensures your dog stays cool and relaxed.

A typical day
We typically start the day with a 30-minute morning walk, followed by some rest and relaxation. In the middle of the day, we take a short pee break around the block. In the evening, we go for a 30 to 45-minute walk and often visit nearby parks, such as Parc Frédéric-Back. Depending on your dog's needs and energy level, I'm happy to adapt our routine to ensure they are comfortable and well cared for.
