I live on 12th and Mass Ave so would prefer to be within a 15 min radius of my place for walks and 30 min go check-ins! It’s easier for both of us :) I’ve made a wider range for house/pet sitting. I am a GWU grad student who desperately misses her pets at home and would love to take care of yours! I have taken care of and house sat for both dogs and cats for many years. I have not taken care of a brand new puppy in a long time, but great with trained dogs. I am comfortable taking care of both dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a great park area near my place within walking distance. I love to go for long walks so I am comfortable take them out for a long time. Please let me know in advance if your dog doesn’t like other dogs or tips I need to know for their walks so we are all safe. I will make sure the animals are happy and healthy before I leave. I will make sure there are no messes or issues left behind when I leave. I am very communicative and will let the owners know of everything that I do/what has happened. I will treat your pets like my own!

Schedule
I currently work full time but mostly remote and I am home all day. I can do walks on lunch hours or before/after work hours! I enjoy going out for walks on my lunch break. With my thesis and work, seeing a cute pet is my free (well paid haha) therapy!

- Please let me know the usual behaviors of your dog or cat beforehand. I don’t want to be caught off guard when they do something odd to me but it is normal for them. I want to make sure that they are happy and there isn’t something bad going on. Also what commands you use for them. On a happier note I’d love to know what their favorite toys or activities are so I can make sure they are having loads of fun and feel comfortable around me.
