I currently work full time for a Veterinary Management company and I work from home. I’d love to have a reason to step away from the computer , get some fresh air, assist my community, and spend more time with animals. Working full time and having a special needs cat, I cannot do overnight visits. I can work remotely from your home if you wish for your pet to have long term company, as long as you have WiFi, I can set up and spend time working and being with your fur-family.

I live across from Rye Town Park and the Playland Beach Dog Beach (in season) , I’d be happy to bring your dog for a walk around my neighborhood or wherever their preferred local spot is. I love cats and can feed, socialize and change litter without issue. Happy to assist with small chores while at your home such as bringing in packages or the mail, watering plants or bringing in the garbage cans. I can also assist with other pets, such as feeding fish or rodents.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of. I look forward to getting to know you and your pup. Some questions I will ask are if your dog is generally good with other dogs, how about with children, what are your wishes when it comes to other people wanting to interact with your dog, how is your dog on a leash, are there particular triggers that frighten your dog, does your dog have a favorite treat, and a few more. It’s important to me to be prepared to best work with your dog and keep them as safe as possible.

I’d enjoy making sure the dogs are getting the most out of the visit. If your dog is high energy and would like to run, I can take them for a run or play fetch with their favorite toy. I know my way around the neighborhood pretty well and would enjoy taking the dogs to areas that are safe to walk and where dogs are permitted.

I’ve cared for all sorts of animals through my life - from my own pets ranging from dogs and cats to birds, lizards and fish. I am also a volunteer at an Animal Sanctuary where I care for rescued farmed animals. I am partnered with wildlife rehabbers in Westchester County and I also work full-time for a Veterinary Group where I have access to some of the greatest veterinarians on the East Coast. I’m reliable, honest, kind, and patient.

Christie is simply the best! My kitty had an eye problem while I was away and Christie expertly troubleshooted it with such care and compassion. She truly loves animals and is very knowledgable. We are so fortunate to be in touch with her - we’ve used other sitters when Christie is not available but there is no comparison. 100% recommend!
Christie is absolutely wonderful! She always goes above and beyond during her check-ins and walks, making sure my dog is happy and well cared for. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my pup is in such loving and reliable hands when we’re at work. Love the picture updates!
