Your Purrfect Sitter!
I've taken care of cats since I was a young girl. We always had cats while I was growing up, and since moving to Vancouver and not finding many pet friendly rentals, I have taken to cat sitting to get my fix of playing with, and cuddling with, cats! Cat sitting is a great way to fill the hole of not being able to have my own pet - and I promise I’ll take care of yours as if it were my own! I care about cats deeply and genuinely, and my day is brightened so much whenever I get to be around them!!

While I unfortunately can't have cats in my place, I take the responsibility of staying in other people's homes very seriously. I always leave everything very neat and tidy, respect others' space and privacy, and ensure I am quiet and respectful to the neighbours as well.
Ratings and reviews
Christie took such great care of our senior cat! She's pretty shy and anxious with new people, but Christie was so patient with her and gave her the space she needed to warm up. She kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. We'll definitely be booking Christie again! :)
Christie took such wonderful care of our girls, our plants, and our home! She kept us updated on how everyone was doing and made sure that our girls had everything they needed. Elsie & Amelia are looking forward to seeing Christie again!

Schedule
I work in Human Resources in Gastown 3 days a week, and at home 2 days a week. I am a homebody, so I tend to be enjoying a good TV show or playing on my switch at home on my time off—so generally outside of my office days, I like being at home, and I would be loving on your kitty!! As much as I would love to spend every minute cuddling or playing with them, I recognize some cats also need space and like to be left alone, and I use their body language, looks and meows to determine when to leave them be. It’s all about building trust, and nothing means more to me than when a cat recognizes they can feel safe with you 😻
- CatsChristie can host up to 1 pet per night
- Let me know if you have a cat that needs medications or anything at a very specific time; I can try and plan my work accordingly ahead of time to make sure I could be home at the appropriate time. Otherwise if there are any health concerns or little funky things your furry friend does/likes/doesn’t like, let me know so I can take care of them as best as I can :)
