Christian was absolutely wonderful with our high energy Golden Retriever! He sent lots of photo's of her while they were busy on walks. Plus, photos of her relaxing in his home. I was worried she would have anxiety, but she seemed to really settle in. The next time we need a pet sitter we will definitely contact Christian.
Overall, I appreciate the help during our trip, but there were a few issues that made the experience less smooth than expected. Some care instructions were missed or needed to be repeated multiple times. The feeding amount was not always correct, and the food bowls were not cleaned until I specifically followed up about it. Food crumbs on the floor were also left behind, which unfortunately led to ants in the house when we returned home. I had also requested shoes be removed inside the home, and I would have appreciated a bit more attention to boundaries overall. I think there is room for improvement in attention to detail and following care instructions more consistently.
My dog was instantly friends with Christian when he came over for the meet and greet, my dog isn’t always that friendly with new people so that was a good sign. Overall was great and sent pictures of my dog for each drop in visit. Have him booked again for my next trip and recommend!
Christian did such an awesome job watching our dog Hazel. She is somewhat uneasy around strangers- but they became best friends while we were on vacation! Christian sent pictures of all their adventures, it was as if Hazel was having a vacation too! I would not hesitate to recommend Christian.
