I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup (or cat!). I prefer advance booking so I can plan appropriately and can ask/answer any necessary follow-up questions.

First and foremost, I would spend time to get to know your dogs' play-preferences. Do they like to play tug-of-war, or are they more of a fetch kind of dog? Do they prefer roughhousing or gentle play? I'm also happy to bring my dog if yours prefers play time with other dogs, since she is highly submissive (we would have them meet first, of course). And, if you need a cat-sitter, you can rest assured that I will take the proper time and care to bond with your cat by being just as mindful and respectful.

Please let me know if your dog has any phobias (loud noises, cars, other types of animals--my dog, Denali, is afraid of most statues!). It would also be good to know what their expected manners are like on the leash--but don't worry, my girl started off rough and we've got our leash communication down pat.
A typical day
I love high energy play! When a dog gets the zoomies from feeling happy and safe, it fills me up with incredible joy. We will run, jog, and walk alike, and I love bringing their favorite toy so we can take breaks in the grass and sunshine. Of course, for cats, it always depends on their preference. From bells, to lasers, to dangling stuffed mice, I have toys aplenty to provide if your kitty hasn't figured out their favorite yet.

Pet care experience
While I've cared for family dogs since my earliest memories, my dog Denali is who really taught me how to play, be silly, and make sure she's receiving every aspect of quality care. Her vet is always amazed at how happy and healthy she is! My cat Noah has also been rehabilitated to proper health, and it has been the most wonderful gift to watch her grow healthy through our bond.

Christian was absolutely spectacular! Although cats can be persnickety, our kitty warmed right up to them as soon as James and I left town. Christian left the best, most thoughtful and personalized daily reports, which made us feel like they were really taking care of Zelda, not just dropping in to feed her. For example, she had some irregular bathroom habits for the first couple days, and Christian noticed the litter box was staying a little *too* clean and checked in to problem solve with us. We loved getting updates and pictures every afternoon and seeing Zelda looking content and well-adjusted (quite a feat for a Covid Cat left alone for a week)! It's a lot easier leaving town when you know your pet is in great hands - we'd recommend Christian 100%. Thanks again, Christian!
Christian cares deeply about the well being of animals. They are great at making me feel like the fur babies will be well taken care of and loved! Highly recommend them!
We cannot recommend Christian more. They are thoughtful, they are thorough, they are genuinely one of the best pet caregivers we have ever experienced. Aside from their intuitive ability to listen, which is so important to us, they always make sure they are taking extra care of our animal's needs with unconditional regard. They love every animal they meet (we've witnessed how they take care of their own and let's just say we need more pet-parents like them everywhere!), and I am still amazed at how they are able to connect to every little or big-little one they come across. 10/10. I recommend Christian with no hesitation. Good luck finding someone this high quality in your area! Ain't gonna happen :)
Christian is a wonderful person and caregiver to animals! I lived with them and their dog for some time, and I witnessed firsthand how nurtured, loved, and cared for their dog was all the time. Christian has watched over my cats, too, and they were spoiled with lots of pets and attentiveness. You can fully trust Christian with your pets and your home. They are very considerate of others, great at communicating, and extremely respectful of others. No question about it, Christian will be the right sitter for you!
