Hi, my name is Christian! I’m a graduate student at the University of Iowa with a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up, I cared for two playful Akitas and a variety of farm animals, which sparked my love for furry friends. Today, I share my home with a lovable Cane Corso mix and two adorable cats. I have hands-on experience as a former veterinary technician, having worked at an animal hospital for two years. During that time, I cared for animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, gaining valuable skills and insights. I’m active, attentive, and confident in providing excellent care for both dogs and cats, whether it’s for playtime, walks, or quiet companionship. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and ensure they’re happy and comfortable while you’re away!

Schedule
I’m currently going to school full time but have a fairly flexible schedule due to the nature of online and hybrid classes. During week days, I’m available for walks, runs, daily care and periodic check-ins with your animals. During the weekend I have more availability and can work with you to accommodate your needs.

I can easily work with you to accommodate your needs depending on your home, fur baby, and personal preferences. I am comfortable taking your animal out for walks, play time outside, or crating inside if you prefer.

A typical day
Walks, runs, play time, belly-rub sessions, and all the cuddles a dog could ask for. When time allows, I love to bake home made (and animal-friendly) treats for special occasions. As a transplant in Iowa, I particularly love exploring the city and local neighborhoods through runs and walks.
